Horrible place!!

The worst hotel ever.

The care of the owner of the property and the cleanliness of the place. I don't think there is too many places you can feel welcome and comfortable like this in Haiti.Tropical bed and Breakfast is my home in Haiti.

First the good points - Room 5 : 1. Great roof terrace with a with a panoramic view of Jalousie - a sprawling shanty town 2. Hot shower - if there is water 3. Small fridge - very valuable 4 Table and reding lamp - very valuable Negative points : Not necessarily in order 1. A world first, a Bed & Breakfast, with NO breakfast ! Never mind the written agreement ! 2. Unfriendly female receptionist - with " secret " password for Wi-Fi 3. Rooms 4,5,6 - paper thin walls and roof - you can follow a telephone conversation next door / Listen to neighbours TV programmes 4. Stench of the toilet is terribly nauseating - no visible reason 5. Kitchen : Source of loud and prolonged arguments - at daybreak 6.Power outages : Frequent and slightly annoying 7. Water outages : Can last for hours The location is very good. One can walk to the Caribe Tours Terminal. Supermarkets ( Giant ) are close. Given the above though, I would not recommend this Bed & Breakfast. Out of a rating of 1 to 5, I would give a two, to be generous.

un lugar muy extraño que es difícil de encontrar, nos tardamos una hora en encontrar la dirección, cuando ya estábamos ahí la recepción está en unos apartamentos que rentan y la gente que estaba en el front desk no sabía nada (al parecer no trabajan ahí) por lo que nos llevaron al edificio de al lado, ahí le preguntamos a la recepcionista del edificio y avisó a un teléfono, llegó una persona que nos llevo nuevamente a los apartamentos y nos hizo llenar unos registros con mucha información, nos dieron una habitación en la azotea del lugar y no servía el baño, estuvimos buscando al gerente pero es difíicil de encontrar al personal, hasta que llegó la dueña y resolvió todas nuestras dudas. Un lugar muy ruidoso ya que la habitación daba a la calle donde es el acceso a una zona habitacional, hay música y voces toda la noche porque hay puestos de comida y tiendas.
