Hotel One Eighteen

Great location, friendly staff, nice decorated hotel rooms but my room unfortunately wasn’t sparkling clean.

Check in was easy. Great location, a bit difficult to get taxi in front of the hotel but easy enough after you cross the road.

Overall, the hotel was awesome. We checked in at the hotel on a Saturday afternoon. With total of two rooms booked, we got #1803 and 1903. The hotel is very secured which requires valid room keys to activate the elevators. Front desk is helpful and attentive to our requests and questions- adapter, airport shuttle, taxi, etc. They sell airport express tickets for HK$90 per person, but they suggested us to buy at the Hong Kong station counter for average of HK$70 per person since we are a party of 4. The rooms are quite spacious compared to the other hotels in this price range (e.g., butterfly on Victoria/ butterfly on Hollywood). Our room came with a handy phone which can be used as a pocket wifi for internet tethering. The battery life on the handy phone is good, which we had no problem of getting through our days without charging it. The hotel is located in a mixed residential commercial area- not much shopping but lots of great food. Very close to the MTR tin hau station. From HKG, you can reach the hotel by the standard airport express-MTR, taxi (~HK$465), or airport express city bus (~HK$21-51; route A11 or E11).
