北角海逸酒店

I've stayed at this property many times over the years as it is very convenient to our HK office. They have recently done some room renovations, but they were pretty cheap mods. We had constant trouble with our room keys, the beds are hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant does a good job and has a great breakfast layout, but is relatively expensive. they do have a work out facility and the room price is good.

Hotel a bit outdated but overall clean and good.

Room was comfortable and very reasonably priced, but very dated - warn carpets, visible cracks/marks on walls and a very hard bed! Super handy to the MTR and a reasonable about of shops/restaurants in walking distance.

The hotel is in a great location, but is dated and in need of a renovation. The room furniture was worn with doors not closing properly etc. Room rates were good that made up for the other shortcomings. The hotel is situated in the best of both worlds. Short walk to local markets and dined like a local, or short MTR to Causeway Bay or Kowloon for the fancy restaurants. Not much shopping nearly other than local market type shopping. But it was fun, and we enjoyed the experience. The hotel is right opposite the North Point Government Office and Quarry Bay. In the evening there were plenty of locals jogging around the bay or strolling to North Point which has a larger shopping area than Quarry Bay. As our business meetings were around Central, the location of the hotel suited us. Will stay there again.

Cosy & comfortable room with nice seaview

Staff service is top notch and facilities is tidy and clean. The buffet is five stars. Highly recommended

Stayed at the hotel quite a few times during the years. The hotel is certainly showing its age. The rooms are dated. And the shuttle bus service to/from Cityplaza stopped after COVID. But the staff are nice and helpful. The lobby cafe very good with comfy chairs. One MRT station away from Cityplaza or 20-25 minutes walk. Many dining options nearby. Overall good if you don’t mind older hotels.

WiFi can be more reliable.

Pictures in Hotels.com website are misleading - we (2 adults 1 child) got a twin room with a folding bed crammed in - nothing like the modern looking pictures in website. Also, WiFi in room was really lousy, kept dropping off and slow. I was hoping to do some work in the room but ended up having to go to a nearby cafe to work./. Not commendable for the cost of the stay.

Near by Starbucks and walking distance to the Market or Victoria Harbour

Not much around the area but I chose this hotel due to family. Staff is very friendly and the room is nice and clean. Only negative comment is WiFi is very slow.

The hotel is near Quarry Bay metro station, very convenient to anywhere. The staff is generally very friendly and helpful. However, the building is really dated. We had a studio room No. 3202 with half harbour view and with a stove, fridge and sink. There is no electrical outlet in the kitchen and bathroom. The ice tray was dirty and the Samsung fridge was rusty. I will not recommend, at least, the same room. Personally, I will not stay at this hotel again.

The bartender May was very professional and personable at the same time. Very accommodating service. The lady at the front door bottom of the escalator needs to learn how to smile. She has more of the attitude of a jail warden receiving new prisoners than a friendly welcoming valet. Hotel suffers of the same disease as the Hong Kong does in general: An increase influx of Maitland Chinese both tourists and staff largely uncivilized, unmannered and uneducated.

We really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Plaza North Point. Even though it’s slightly further from the focal attraction of the city (7 MTR stations from Central, 5 from Causeway Bay), we appreciate its cleanliness and the view from our side harbor view room. Our room was spotless clean everyday and the staff in the lobby was helpful and efficient. Highly recommended for the price and quality of service!

We have got upgraded to a 33rd floor harbour view room. It offered very nice view of the harbour daily. Thanks to Jessica, Assistant Manager of the Hotel.

Hotel is located in a quiet area near Quarry Bay. It only takes 3 tram stops to get to North Point where there are plenty of restaurants and stores for shopping. If you don't like riding the trams, there are bus stops, and metro stops near by. My room was rated to have a city view. There was not much of a view to speak of. I think the advertising was a little misleading.
