Our stay at Novotel Danube was excellent as always. This is my hotel of choice when visiting Budapest.

The view was good

Very beautiful view of the Danube. Close to down town and amenities. The staff is what’s very pleasant and very helpful.

The stay was good.

Excellent location. Great view. Great access. Quiet. Excellent staff manners. Room missing some amenities like hair dryer, iron, replace the water bottle when empty. Very small and minor things. Generally it's good and I'm booked there twice more this year.

We have stayed at the Novotel Danube numerous times and have always had a very nice stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is outstanding, and the location is great.

Great location near the metro station

Nice modern hotel with a very good location. We stayed one night as we were joining a river cruise. Location is great to walk along the River, get a nice meal or catch the trolly. Breakfast was delicious, bed comfortable and staff very friendly. I would stay again.

We found staff friendly and helpful. We ate lunch here a couple of times which was very nice. However the breakfast was not great. Cold/like warm food items even on items being brought straight out from the kitchen. During our stay the temperature was quite warm. The air conditioning in our room did not work. When we asked about it we were told it was switched off for the whole hotel. We tried keeping our window open as much as possible but the street noise meant that we needed to shut it at night. The room was then very warm. This made our nights sleep quite uncomfortable and disappointing when the rooms are advertised as having air conditioning.

Pretty basic hotel room with small bathroom. I found the room very hot and was glad I could open the window a tiny bit. But nothing matters when you have that incredible view of Parliament. One of the best views I’ve ever had in a hotel. You could sit and watch the river all day and all night. So beautiful?

Awesome views great position well located

Overall a good stay. Were unable to control room temperature and staff could not assist. For 3 nights it was very suitable to the sites.

Great service by all the staff we met, but particukar praise goes to the food & beverage managers who were exemplary, our favourite being Simon, but honestly the reception staff were equally great. The hotel is dated, for sure, but room service was way below expectations...cobwebs on lights, sinks not wiped, coffee & tea nor replaced .....not great

The hotel is conveniently located and if doing the bus hop on-hop off tour, this is stop 17. The area around the hotel is quiet and going for a walk after a meal is wonderful You get to view the Parliament building at night all lit up. The hotel itself is clean. Could do with an uplift. The staff are very welcoming and happy to help. We were a party of 4 with some dietary requirements. Although the restaurant does not cater towards vegetarian, the catering staff were more than willing to accommodate and prepare some meals. The food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. We did find out that they do not have maintenance staff throughout the night as we encountered a problem with door locking. This is the only downside we encountered. Would stay again although not for the same duration.

I asked the room from which window can see the parliament. I got it. it's great view

Staffs were nice & kind. Room was clean & spacious. Great location. 5 min walk to the bus & metro station.
