In a secluded location but the environment and surrounding is fabulous. Friendly and helpful staff, dinner was very delicious.

Es wurde geklopft, um uns auf Nordlichter aufmerksam zu machen. Bei ein paar Extrawünschen würde uns direkt und sehr freundlich geholfen. Der Pool liegt wunderbar in der Natur und alles ist sauber und schön angelegt. Einfach toll!

This property is a gem! It’s a small country hotel with spectacular valley views! There is a beautiful outdoor soaker tub and the rooms are new and clean. It’s a bit off the ring road but well worth getting away from the city lights for a chance to see the Aurora which we did! Great value for money!

Hotel was beautiful and most of staff was very friendly. The one girl in restaurant seemed to not know her much about wines etc. Asked her what a delicious wine was and she said just some Iceland wine. Asked her in the morning about some delicious wafers and she seemed put off and she didn’t know. The place is down a pretty rough road is come from the national park. If coming from Bogarnes not bad. Highly recommend!

The hot tub was perfect after a day or exploring the region. View from the room was incredible.

This is a gem of a hotel! The views were absolutely spectacular. It was so relaxing to check in, unpack and have a lovely dinner right there. The hot tub experience is unparalleled!!! You have to see it to believe it. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly. I would definitely return here if in the area!!

The start of our stay was very good. Friendly and helpful service and we could even borrow slippers to go out to the hot tub. The room was very spacious and even the bathroom was large. We had a nice time in the natural spring hot tub with a calming view. Unfortunatly our stay went downhill when it came to dinner. We ordered fish and one of them came with bones in it, which got stuck in the throat and coughed up. It’s a very serious and dangerous situation. We informed the staff, but still had to pay full price for the fish, and the rest of the night was ruined. This incident required an assesment at the hospital the following day by a specialist to make sure there wasn’t anything still stuck and to access the damge done to the esophagus.

Amazing stay. Perfect place to relax after a day of outdoor activities or riding in the car.

One. Of. The. Best. Hotels. In. Iceland. You MUST stay here. A bit of a drive off the ring road, but it is well worth it. The staff are outstanding. The food is delicious. The rooms are spacious. And the outdoor hot pool and view is out of a magazine. I will tell everyone I know who is going to Iceland to stay here.
