Great location near the church. The host was warm and inviting, and the place had a lot of charm.

I stayed in the garden-style apartment which is adjacent to the guesthouse with my husband, toddler, and parents for two nights. Edda, the friendly owner, contacted me in advance to make sure she would be available when we planned to arrive and check-in. The apartment had two bedrooms (3 twin beds and one queen) which was perfect for the five of us; a kitchen with dishwasher; washer/dryer (didn't use but it was available); and a separate living room and bathroom. It was clean, comfortable, and the location can't be beat. It is less than two blocks walk to the Hallgrimskirkja (the big church in the city) and the rest of the shops, restaurants, and sites. Everything is within walking distance. We had a car and street parking was free and plentiful. We didn't need to move the car for the two days we were there and it was only a block away. Would recommend the apartment to anyone and would stay here again!

Great place to stay with alot of very friendly people that Will help you out if there is anything. 5min walk to central Reykjavik. George and all of the other people really make you feel at home.
