Das Hotel hat uns die Übernachtung 2x verrechnet. Ausser ein "oups" und "sorry" ist nichts passiert. Nachdem sie sich entschuldigt haben, werden Mails ignoriert. Von meinem Geld das sie unrechtmässig zurückbehalten, habe ich noch nichts gesehen obschon sie alle Angaben von mir erhalten haben.

Too expensive for what this hostel offer! The building is very old and not so clean , the staff is friendly and professional. Kitchen is big and you can find everything you need rooms are too small

The place was very clean, and it was easy to check-in. The kitchen was big and well furnished, but got a bit disappointed seeing there wasn’t cooking oil, salt or pepper. The bunk beds were comfortable enough, but the lack of privacy curtains was a bit off putting. I got to sleep in my room alone, so it’s not too bad, but I wouldn’t like having strangers come and go and just see me sleep. Finally, I feel like the blanket fee is a bit deceiving. While it is mentioned on Expedia, it’s like 1500 ISK, in person they charged me 3500 ISK (could’ve been 3000 ISK if I messaged them in advance..). Overall, I don’t think a fee make sense, just include the bedsheets in the price, it’s an hostel..

Great kitchen area for hostel. Well stocked and lots of space to cook and eat.

The room with two bunk-beds was very small for four people. It was hot, stuffy and poorly soundproofed. We spent three nights there and EVERY night there was quite a big fat spider on the ceiling. First night - spider has rappelled on the head of our son. He awoke, saw the spider above his face and awoke all of us. Second night - daughter saw spider rappelled from the ceiling on the side around 4am, awoke us and asked us to remove it; third night- we saw the spider around 10 pm and removed it. In summer time is it not getting dark, thus you can see everything everywhere. Our kids are not little, nevertheless they felt uncomfortable. It seems that the construction is poorly „sealed“ and has a lot of holes.

Rooms are very tiny and hard to even open large bags. Kitchen area was fine but there were just too many people using it at the same time. Pricing is higher compared to what they provide.

Bed very creaky and noisy and seems outdated.

Ostello che necessiterebbe di una bella ristrutturazione. Struttura un po' lasciata andare. Ampia cucina, con disponibili numerosi utensili e due frigoriferi. Stanza piccola. Bagni in comune un po' datati e minimali. La zona purtroppo non offre molto altro, a prezzi ragionevoli.

Loved to sleep at the end of a 300 years old lava bed, my bed was comfy (I rented duvet set) and staff was friendly and very helpful. Not much privacy in the bathroom but for few nights is fine. Great cheap option for exploring the wonderful surroundings

Check in was smooth and the room and bed were comfortable. Cost to rent linens is much higher than listed on Hotels.com. It was approximately $18 for the linens.

Tres p ropre grannde cuisine bien équipée et salle a manger. Belle vue.

Great stay, easy access to kitchenware and lots of room for guests.

Wenn man nicht für das Bett zeug bezahlen will Schlafsack selber mit nehmen. War ganz angenehm.

Très bien situé joli véranda pour la cuisine, chambre petite pour 4 et peu de douche et WC

방이 너무 추웠습니다. 다른 편의 시설은 훌륭했으나 샤워 시설이 부족했습니다. 아침에 씻을 때 많이 기다렸습니다.
