This was our most eventful stay. The staff was lovely, though reasonably chaotic at times. The parking area is small. It was raining when we were there and a few people got stuck. Love the aesthetic of the hotel. I wish there were more protein options for breakfast, but what was available was still good.

Staff was very accommodating. Room was great. Small refrigerator was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious.

The room was spacious, private, clean and the breakfast good. The host went out of his way to have our breakfast ready earlier than the normal time so that we could be to our tour in time. Highly recommend!

The setting next to the river was amazing. The room was clean and safe and the hosts were amazing as was the breakfast. Highly recommend.

Cabins were quaint and very clean. Environmentally conscious and pleasant surroundings. Walls were a bit thin and easy to hear other guests in adjacent room. Breakfast just okay and very limited. Good for price.

The location is beautiful. Rates are reasonable

We had an absolutely awesome stay at Riverfront Lodge! The staff/owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, it’s in a beautiful and peaceful location with great views, and very convenient for those traveling the Ring Road. Definitely recommend!

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Bad. Wir hatten das Glück die Polarlichter von dort aus sehen zu können. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet, es gab alles was man brauchen könnte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Quaint little place to stay for the night. One of our other bookings was canceled last minute and we found Riverfront lodge. It was cloudy, but I’m sure you could see the Northern Lights from a clear night. No light pollution around. Parking was right out front, and everything was great!

Stayed one night. Had issue locking door but staff were quick to rectify it. Nice property just outside of small town with restaurants and cafes. We stopped here between our golden circle day trip onwards to Vik. Room was pretty with a view of the river. No staff on site so check in is via lock box info that is provided day before or so. We didn’t get to stay for the breakfast as it starts at 0815 and we were already on the road. Room was a nice size for two people, clean with a small fridge and some things for coffee and tea. Some towels had a bit of an odour but we just didn’t use those. Otherwise beautiful location, felt very calm and peaceful. Better to have a car as it would be a walk down a side road then a highway.

Lovely location on a river. Rooms were very nice. Hosts/owners assisted with serving breakfast and were very friendly and hospitable.

Loved the view from the room! Like someone else said though the walls are paper thin so if you're sensitive to noise from others just be aware you might have to listen someone next door snoring all night
