- no staff in the reception and lobby at all, but it is not an auto self-service hotel - did not receive any e-mails about how to do the self-check in and the password to enter the building - has a restaurant but no staff to cook - bed linen was dirty, stick with hairs and not comfortable - location is not good, very few restaurants and no supermarkets/convenient stores nearby

The kitchen is perfect with all the necessaries provided. Though the location of hotel is a bit far away from the city centre, the facilities are clean and with a lower price. I hope that they can add in more lights though cause it’s a bit dark for me even if I turned on all the lights.

Quick response and clear communication. The price is good for what you get, and the location is convenient for a short stay.

Easy acess to local resturants and down town Reykjavik

The fire alarms constantly go off even in the middle of the night. I stayed there 6 nights and had it go off 3 times in the middle of the night.

we had a good experience at this hotel - with check in, out, our room was lovely, there is a mini kitchenette although we didnt use it was nice to have if needed. would recommend to friends. free parking. easy to get to downtown or to go elsewhere.

no one to be seen, Breakfast was unclear (even tho we were sure about having breakfast included for 1 day, we didn’t got it because at the breakfast times no one was near to be found) dirty cutlery in the drawer, fridge wasn’t cleaned up and stuff from the guests in front of us was still inside if. Certain information was not shared of unclear (on the site as in the hotel it self.)

Amazing staff!

Hotelli oli hyvä kaikinpuolin vaikka kulumia näkyvissä (enimmäkseen käytävillä). Saavuttaessa vastaanotto oli erittäin ystävällinen ja iloinen (vastassa oli mies henkilö). Seuraavana päivänä aamupala oli myöhässä, eikä sitä laittanut naishenkilö ollut ollenkaan halukas auttamaan tilataksin tilaamisessa vaikka pyysimme sitä moneen kertaan. Palvelualttius ei muutenkaan ollut hänen vahvuus. Muuten hotelli oli tosi kiva, siisti ja edullinen.

Small apartment, Although compact we had a small well appointed kitchenette which was kitted out very practically (washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, dishwasher tablets). Other reviews have pointed out the lack of storage. But it was comfortable enough

The room was very well designed for a small space with everything needed to have a nice stay.

The staff was very friendly and considerate, the room was very clean, and the atmosphere was very friendly

Palvelu ja vastaanotto oli hieman kankea, sisäänkirjautuminen onnistui vain paikanpäällä tabletilta ja palvelu ei ollut kovin kattavaa tai normaalin ystävällistä. Hotelli huone oli mukava, ok ja sänky pehmeä ja sai hyvät yöunet. Kaikenkaikkiaan ok, kunhan ei palvelusta harmistu.

Very cool hotel with rooms above a very quiet cafe lounge, the owner Yost was very accommodating in allowing me an early check-in and the room had a sleek decor and a convenient kitchenette setup. I really enjoyed my 3 night stay here and it was conveniently placed within driving distance of many major attractions, but also in a quiet area that allowed me to feel safe and free of disturbance. The view of Perlan Museum from out the window of my room was very cool. Personally the check-in and check-out process was very easy and I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a cool vibe while visiting Reykjavík.

Stay was good to be fair to the hotel. Check in was weird as we arrived on a Sunday and there were no staff, we didn't know there was a self-check in process and so were quite lost for a while. Also we have a young child and the garage just behind the hotel work past his bed time so was a bit noisy for him. That said, the beds were comfy, parking was easy, the area was nice (a short walk to botanical gardens) and staff were friendly and helpful.

Compact room with enough room for three. Quiet location with restaurant on premises.

Hotel room was not available, we were offered a room in another “hotel” with no lobby, facilities or service.

The shower in my room had 2 shower heads - I could literally have 2 showers at once! But seriously, the staff are really nice and helpful - I had one issue with a card key that wouldn't open my door, and it was immediately resolved. The hotel is half an hour's walk from the city center and an easy pick up point for all of the popular tours of the country. I heard from other tourists staying at other hotels that the facilities in their hotels were terrible - that is not the case for this one. Rooms with kitchenettes are available, they're all en-suite. They don't have TVs, but with so much to explore and so many wonders to see in Iceland, you won't need a TV because you won't be in your room for long. This is a perfect hotel, I fully recommend it.

Stove top didn’t work and the windows were broken with one window glass shattered. Didn’t affect our stay and the staff were nice!
