Booked Hotel Amar, but got booking in Amar Yatri Niwas

We actually unfortunately saw our room and decided to go somewhere else. We honestly meant to book Hotel Amar (similar name with same logo) so we left our booking and went and booked a room in Hotel Amar just two buildings down. The staff was really nice and understanding!

We had 3 rooms booked, plenty of problems apart from initial bad vibes 1) Flush sockets were broken in all rooms 2) One room power sockets were not working and coming out of the wall 3) Rooms had no ventilation and some rooms had permanent heating setup which could not be changed to cooling 4) one of the room had no TV audio and they couldn’t fix it 5) corridors were razor thin to walk between rooms 6) they showed us a room initially where flush setup was extracted out on the floor and they were ok with showing it to us if we are ok to take it !! 7) Bathrooms had no vent in any room 8) Mattresses quality were too cheap 9) No parking other than roadside parking along with incoming traffic. For $50 a room (which includes everything), a very bad deal. Please stay away.

Only good thing is the location.

If you are staying for the Taj Mahal, you will be fully satisfied. The surroundings are noisy at night, but I have no complaints about the facilities or customer service.

I booked the hotel Amar Yatri Niwas at Haridwar and the I realised that the hotel in Agra was confirmed. The hotel Amar Yatri Niwas in Haridwar was very dirty and I couldn't stay there for this reason. I aske you to returne the account. Bests regards Karin Halter

Not happy....shabby hotel...poorly trained staff....though it was mentioned in mail that it includes breakfast and wifi...at hotel we were told that ofcourse wifi is available but it is chargable....it is called cheating.

Very Good Hotel to stay. They have the centralized Air conditioner which keeps your room always cool, even though switch off the main switch of the room. But Hotel ADMIN / Authorities that you taking 15 min more to check out the room or as part of Hotel Policy they keep on calling your room to vacate.

Room was cleaned, Service /Breakfast was poor. Ovearall not a very good experience.. Ok kind of hotel

部屋は広くありませんが、シーツが清潔で快適に過ごせました。ホットシャワーがでます。 隣にCOSTA COFFEEとピザハット、両替所があり便利です。 リキシャーやタクシーの運転手には名前を言うだけで分かってもらえます。

同ビルに外貨両替所とCOSTA COFFEEというカフェ、隣にピザハットがあり、インド料理に飽きた私にはとても好立地に感じました。 その他、サービス、清潔さ、メンテナンス等々は値段相応です。この値段なら仕方ないという感じです。ただ、寝るためならばサービス等は問わないという方にお勧めです。

Chambre propre. Bon petit déjeuner buffet. Pas tres loin du Taj Mahal (20 min a pieds environ). Brruit toute la nuit a cause d'une panne de courant qui a nécessité l'utilisation du groupe électrogène (situé près de la fenêtre de notre chambre!)
