After a bumpy local bus from Erakleum we were happy to wonder around Aleeppy town and eventually arrived at Bamboo lagoon reception counter. What happens next we cannot say... much laughter... Lovely home cooked food with all the spices of Kerala. Lovely friendly staff that made the trip a little greater. Relaxing sunsets whist watching the house boats go by.

Room was very small and basic. A/C stopped working, no toilet paper in bathroom when we got there, no window covering in bathroom, curtains did not cover window properly on any window, we had to play with the curtains for a half hour to get them to cover windows, they were in bad shape. People were always lurking around outside, felt awkward. Had to be back by 8:30 pm, hotel rule due to boat ride to get across I think. No proper check in or check out. One of them walked into our room while we were changing, he apologized profusely. He knocked and we said hold on and he came in anyways, he should have not let himself in, we obviously had not left, one cannot sneeze without everyone knowing. Saw a Ramada down the street and wished we had stayed there.

Situé sur une ile, avec les contraintes afférentes.
Au final bonne situation pour profiter de l'environnement backwaters.
Beaucoup de moustiques à l'extérieur, gâchant un peu l'environnement
