Expedia Group verified review
Smelled of mold, so badly I couldn’t breathe well. Manager said “no problem” we will give the refund. Contact hours are from 12am-2pm. They never responded to Expedia’s attempts to refund my stay. My credit card refunded my stay, instead.

Overall it was a good budget Hostel. As clean as India can get. I was moved to a larger all female dorm on the 2nd day and appreciated it.
Ate at the rooftop and no issues. Bed sheets were clean. Bathroom was ok.
You have to walk some stairs to get to Laxman Jula. If on a budget I would stay here again.

It look and feel Like western hostel. I met nice friendly people the hostel workers are helpful and friendly
The location is good. Its Cheaper to be there in ac room when it's hot. Lovely view from roothtop and we had great balkony in the room. I highly recommend this guesthouse

Bunk Stay has a great location and a lovely rooftop indoor/outdoor cafe. It has great views of the Ganges River, the mountains, and the city. Some of the staff are amazing, and others are less so.

Nice room, stayed in a private room during my stay. Staff aren't the friendliest however and this was noticed throughout, really nice rooftop and with a bit more staff input, could be a really sociable hostel, but didn't have too much of a social side whilst I was there

The sheets were clean when I arrived, but over a ten days stay, they never cleaned the room! They lost my payment online, so I was forced to search trash emails so they didn't charge me again, reception staff are very unhelpful at times.

The place is good for a couple of days' stay. The breakfast portions could be increased, though. And the wi-fi was pretty slow. The people were friendly and helpful, although the customer service was slow.
