Lot of scope for improvement with room cleanliness

The stay was close to work. The Gym is not a gym. It is a couple of machines that do not work and some old free weights. Don't be fooled on that one. They still charge for internet so be aware of that. It is $2 US per day but do we really need to do that now? Staff is nice and the renovations keep the place looking nice.

This is one of the worst hotel I stayed in India. I believed in the Tata group but they failed miserably with no training to staff and nit understanding what the guest wanted. Overall very bad experience. Please avoid if possible.

Excellent hotel for business stay. Fully functional. For EGL offices, this is one of the best options. Just walkable distance.

Great walking distance location to Embassy Golf Links Business Park. Staff really tries very hard so I appreciate them. But some basic troubles I wouldn't expect from a chain business hotel. My wifi kept having trouble due to little things (eg they misspelled my last name so my user name wouldn't sign on and the staff couldn't fix the problem for a while). They forget to send you laundry you've dropped unless you ask for it. They don't have certain things for special requests (eg couldn't provide a scissors which I needed to cut a bandage). But the place is decent enough.

Although a bit difficult to find, Ginger was a lovely place. All staff very smilie and helpful. The manager even helped to sort out Uber on the first day. Great restaurant attached too. Loved the deco on the lifts.... I’d vote it the best lift! With a name like Ginger I sort of expected some “Ginger” specialities!,

It was ok, clean. Service was good. Breakfast was poor. Room service got me the wrong food.

It's all about expectations. Ginger is a chain of budget hotels, and lives up to that without problems. One would be disappointed by the small room if one were expecting a 3+ star hotel experience. But if one looks at it as a budget hotel, Ginger meets, and in my case, exceeds expectations. The room was adequate and comfortable, had the basic amenities one usually needs (cleanliness, TV, Wi-Fi, ceiling fan, A/C, clean bathroom, storage cupboard, mini-fridge). The desk could have been better placed, but I didn't find it a big deal. Newspapers are placed near the lift on each floor, but is that really an issue? A few things that could be better: more power outlets in this connected era, brighter lighting in the bathroom, and faster hot water response (one has to let the shower run for a full minute before feeling the hot water - an unnecessary waste of water). Coffee - definitely, this being BLR and the hotel being a Tata enterprise and all. The attached cafe coffee day opens only at 10, so one has to make do with the powder coffee, which is a tragedy. Of course, the Madurai idli shop down the road more than makes up for it, but saying it nevertheless. Food: Decent, breakfast is expensive but ok when in a rush. I would recommend the idli shop down the road. Used room service for dinner, was timely and good. Staff: overall, quite friendly, no issues. Frankly better than the uppity ones we see in an upmarket chain.

The hotel rooms are very bad and untidy. the ACs so not work and the bathrooms are bad. The rooms too are not good. the chair is also bad and had a bad fall. There are hotels with far better rooms and service and food at the same price in the same neighbourhood. I paid Rs. 4000/- for a night and do not think its any value for money

I stayed at Ginger IRR when I needed a one night stay in Bangalore. I booked through Expedia, but the hotel desk had no idea about me when I arrived. It took several hours for them to sort it out. During that time the staff let me into a room to freshen up but I didn't have a key to go in and out as I pleased. Imagine that experience after a long journey and a prepaid reservation! This hotel is used by some area companies to house their young trainees, which gives it the atmosphere resembling a college dorm. I chatted up with a few and there was a general sense of dissatisfaction with complaints about room-keys never working or food quality. All in all the hotel's location will be convenient to some, but otherwise it is a very basic and overpriced hotel on an extremely busy road.

Pleasant experience, room was decent,only glitch was wifi was not working, staff eere very courteous and helpful.

Nice hotel to stay with family / gf / wife. Peaceful and no disturbance. Nice ambiance. Food is great.

Everything up to mark given the budget. Stayed with girl friend. No problems. Everyone was friendly.
