The property is using a photoshopped images on expedia to attract the customers. The location is not appropriate to commute anywhere. The hotel is not worth the price I paid.

The rooms were clean and staff was very polite. Breakfast was good. Roads outside were very bad.

The rooms are well appointed and clean and cosy. The breakfast is nice and the lunch and dinner was tasty. The staff is friendly. The bathroom needs a wider range of toiletries especially shower gel and dental kit. Also, mineral water should be served.. The shower place should have a small shelf to keep shower gel and shampoo. Towels and face napkins should be placed without asking for them.

Légèrement en retrait du centre donc calme mais grand marché accessible à pied ou tuk tuk Chambres avec vue sur la rivière, reposant. Propreté. Grande salle lumineuse de petit déjeuner avec produits indiens (normal) mais également toasts, confiture... Personnel souriant et serviable.

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at this hotel. Friendly welcome and set in a tranquil location, near to a good bakery. The rooms are big and cosy and spotlessly clean thanks to the housekeeping staff. Delicious food in the restaurant.

The staff was amazing! It was one of the better hotels we stayed at in India!

Dry nice and clean stay! The food is very tasty and the staff is extremely helpful. Vinu, George and others went beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant.

I liked the location. Close to town but away from the craziness. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Always willing to help with whatever I needed. My room was very comfortable, spacious and very clean. I recommend to anybody visiting Munnar.

Nice location near cannal

A nice hotel about 1 km from town center. Great attitude of the staff and the manager. Evening buffet dinner was excellent and very reasonably priced. We stayed for 5 nights and after having dinner decided to eat only at the hotel and not to try our luck in the city. Special thanks to hotel manager Dr. Bilagy who conducts free morning tours of the area and all other employes who did everything so we could have a very pleasant vacation.

A good situation in a calm area, good view and small balcony

Choix d'abandon des bouteilles en plastique, savon fait maison, produits éco-responsables dans la boutique de l 'hôtel. Chaque jour, possibilité de partir se promener dans les plantations de thé le matin (départ 6h30), en compagnie d'un amoureux du e l'endroit, qui sait bien en parler et faire partager sa passion et ses préoccupations environnementales. Je recommanderais le séjour dans cet hôtel, rien que pour cela!

We loved this place! This is a small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They really go out of their way to accommodate your needs and give you a wonderful experience in Munnar. Rooms are neat and clean and breakfast offers a variety of tasty foods, both Indian and continental. The location is perfect, you can easily walk around the town or take a rickshaw or taxi to the sights around. Do not miss the guided morning walk that the hotel offers. This is a fabulous way to get to know the surroundings and history of Munnar. Hotel has a environment friendly way of working that we very much appreciated. Do not miss this little pearl in Munnar!

The hotel is located in central Munnar, easy to get around to all the sights with car or moped. You can easily walk around the town of munnar and the the tea plantations. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is nice and offers a variety of both local and continental food. Staff is helpfull and friendly. The hotel offers a daily guided morning walk, a great way to experience Munnar. We stayed for 5 days and hope to visit again. This is a lovely hotel!

We stayed for 3 nights in the lovely area of Munar. Grand Plaza was great. It is an eco friendly hotel, and a well maintained hotel, just 2 km from town and very quiet. We were upgraded by the hotel to a suit with a balcony with no extra charge when arriving. But more then the room we appriciaeted the service and the hospitality. The morning 2.5 hours free walk with the manager in the near village was amazing. A lot of history and nature details. Also the manager, Mr. Belaji, aranged a cooking demonstration and napkin foalding demonstration as i just mentioned i am interested in indian cooking. The breakfast buffet was great. Different dishes every morning and all very tasty. Hot water in the shower all day long. Only thing to improve is wifi in rooms. Was slow and week and conection was disturbed from time to time. It was a bit of a bother when trying to work. But except for this a wonderful experience and we would love to stay again. Thank you!!!

Cleanliness 4 Service 4 Area 4.5 Breakfast 4 Frendly staff with great entre welcome. Do not miss morning's walk. Perfect hotel for people who wants to do trekking. All tours starts from this area. The only negative point was a template close to hotel which was noisy.

Good location if one wants to be near to the city instead of deep inside the misty vegetation. Conveniently connected to local eateries and spa centre at a hand’s distance. Walk towards the other side into the tea plantations ..... Highlight of the trek was the GM Mr Balaji who lead the trek at 630am.... the detailing of flora and fauna & the local tea estate , tea factory & local people done by him adds fizz to the trek. We got a free upgrade to a suite which had a picturesque view. But the bed cushion was a little uncomfortable plus room cleaning wasn’t up to the mark. Breakfast was decent . Staff was very friendly and co-operative . Overall a good stay .

Excellent Hotel, facilities, comfort, food & services. We were 2 couples so booked 2 rooms for 3 nights in this hotel and we’re Extremely delighted to book this hotel basis the reviews I read particularly about the morning walk with Hotel Manager and we were extremely delighted to experience it thoroughly. Strongly recommend this hotel for all aspects. Appreciate the efforts of the manager Mr. Balaji who leads by example and all the staff particularly Mr. Vinu at reception desk.

Room was ok but Bathroom did not drain properly. On the first night there was no hot water. We were put on the same floor as a large party who made excessive noise early in the morning and late at night. Not worth the price paid. On the positive side, the cooking class was excellent
