Hotels.com verified review

The booking with you was a disaster. First of all the entire property was misrepresented. What was shown and what was given was different. 1. There was construction going on in the property. 2. There were cockroaches in the refrigerator. 3. Water was dripping on the staircase, making it slippery and dangerous. 4. There were cockroaches all over the house at night, making it impossible to sleep. 5. The bedding provided for the hall was musty, smelly and damp. 6.The flush tanks in the one of the bathrooms was broken and did not work. 7. The guests in the next villa -belonging to the same property, were loud and racuous, playing extremely loud music late into the night. When we tried to call the caretaker he did not pick up. 8. Even earlier the owner/manager of the property did not answer questions. We should have got an inkling what the experience would be like. 9. Most of the time there is no electricity, even for the short time there was electricity the TV is useless because they had not paid subscription to any channel. We had enough in a single night, and we left the next morning even though we had a booking and had paid for one more day. But there was no way we were going through that one more night, even though we had paid exorbitant amounts. It is unbelievable that close to 5-star prices are charged when the experience is not even worthy of 1 star. Hotels.com was no help and refused to give adequate refund.
