This by far is my favourite hostal in India. The beds are so comfy, the showers have hot water all the time, and the staff are constantly cleaning! The kitchen is very well equipped which was great, and the staff were so, so lovely and kind, and go out of their way to help you. Priya the owner, takes such pride in the hostal and that’s why the space is so beautiful. Great hostal if you want a good rest, in a great location, and also if you want to socialise there are nice common areas to meet other travellers. Not a bad thing to say :)

I stayed at Hammock for a week during my trip to Mumbai and it was an amazing experience.
1. The hostel is very specious and has a huge common area and chill out zone.
2. The dorm rooms are very spacious
3. The hostel property was clean and hygienic.
The staff was very co operative and helpful when needed
The Carter Road beach is just 5 mins walk

Experienced the true Mumbai culture. Nestled in the local streets, the property has its own unique vibes. We interacted with the locals and enjoyed the nearby food joints. It was truly welcoming and the staff was really helpful
