Not a new property that we stay, however the increase is only in tarriff but all remain the same, dirty sofa ,which we requested to clean as previous visitor left it dirty, Despite ordering food to be delivered 90 minutes in advance arrived 30 minutes late. The plunge pool bottom is very soiled and unclean, mosquito bite left me without sleep whole night,went for a nice experience at big tarriff , but I got only the above, lots of improvement required, this property can be better.

Place is amazing. Bed is poor. Too much external noice. Service and staff were excellent.

Excellent ambience

I stayed 24-25. When I booked through kayak, I Expedia booked me for 24-25. How can you book me hotel on day of 25th for 24th. May be Expedia confused because 25th India is 24th in USA. Called to change date to 25-26, but. O inventory left. Ask for refund no refund yet they say they will email hotel. I booked room for 24-25 through different company same hotel, why would I book room again for same day.

One of the traditional heritage maintenance hotel

Green oasis in the middle of Madurai! Huge property with spaced out clusters of rooms. Lots of trees and shaded walkways. The Rooms are quite spacious, likely built during the colonial. And have been preserved well. Staff and service were great like most good hotels in India, very polite and they take care of guests and their needs very well! Huge pool and lounging area. The pool at night makes for great pictures! Awesome buffet breakfast/dinner. The Banyan bar is nice, literally next to two massive Banyan trees! Evening walk in the shed walkways was an awesome experience. Not very far from the Meenakshi Temple, took a taxi and we were there in about 15-20 min.

Great location and serene premises. Room was good but toilet was small.

This is our first time at this property and we were not disappointed. Quiet and peaceful the grounds were a delight to walk all day. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful and polite staff, they went out of their way to meet all our needs. Punctual and polite, our driver was very knowledgeable and made our tour around town and temples a pleasure. This property is a Must stay.

An oasis right in the middle of the city…must visit!

A very nice atmosphere . Jasmin spa massagers Buana and the kerela guy was very experienced and gave a very good massage. There was a dead cockroach and cob webs behind the beds so not very clean. There was a lot of mosquitos at the outer dining area in the evening. Please put some incense to acoid this mosquitoes Thank you.

Very beautiful property with large green spaces and spacious rooms with sitting areas etc. An excellent place that would be my first choice in the future at Madurai.
