"It's a cozy and lovely place." occurred to me at the first glance of its little courtyard. The small lanes in the front is just quiet and so different from the surroundings. However, the room is ordinary and especially bathroom is basic. With a four star hotel rates, I think its quality is far away from the price. Our room is located on the ground floor, facing right towards a rooftop restaurant. We booked one month before our arrival and it was so noisy, with no view at all. This is so not professional and allocation of room does not well organized or planned. We stayed two nights. and no room cleaning at all. no towel change. Even no glasses for teeth brush. Every time you need something, you have to wait at least 30 min, even if for check-in!!!

Our family of four spent three nights at the Hotel Aashiya Haveli! We loved it there. The location is great, in the heart of where you want to stay (Lal Ghat) and there’s a great view of the lake from the roof. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Overall, it was very mellow and pleasant. Sometimes it was a little hard to find staff but that was never a big issue.

Nice heritage property with lake pichola view from roof top. Lot of option to explore (city palace, gangour ghat, jagdish temple) and for food within walkable distance.

Very humble owner. It's run by Father and Daughter. Despite afternoon check in they took good care of us as we reached early morning. Great location, very near to lake pichola. Good view from rooftop.

Really nice location by the lake. The room was basic but clean and spacious. Good service. The owner was really helpful. The only minus was there were too many dogs barking at night.

The hotel overlooks the lake so the view is nice. There are a couple restaurants steps away from the hotel. The hotel is basic, it could be better with better towels, providing shampoo, hair dryer and space heater. Breakfast was fine. Overall I would recommend this hotel. The owner is very accommodating. Difficult to reach by car but there are lots of Tuktuk.

food was good but very expensive. also there are no options to keep bags or even to store any items. that is uncomfortable

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay the location is unbeatable. The owner and his family are helpful considerate and caring

I read a number of reviews before booking a standard room. It was simple but fully lived up to my expectations and I had a wonderful stay. It is a well kept haveli just a stone throw from Lake Pichola and the city palace. You don't get a better location. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

The property is located in a fantastic location. In the heart of the city in a posh area. Yes it is congested but that’s the charm. Owner is very nice and friendly. He was very helpful. The place is very clean and very well maintained. No regrets!!

No breakfast and no restaurant on the premise. Except that everything is good about the hotel.. Car does not go until the property because of narrow roads. Had to walk 300 mts from nearest parking lot..

We had a wonderful stay here. Lots of close local shops to check out, and the rainbow resturant next door had amazing food and great views.

Nice hotel in great location you can walk to most things in 5 mins You need to get tuk tuk as car will not get there but cheap enough 100 inr from a car park is enough Basic rooms ac but didn’t really work WiFi okay family run but not really looked after could have been down to holi had to ask for towels water etc Restaurants across the road and elsewhere close by lots to chose from

Wsr alles soweit einfach, aber ordentlich. Gefallen hat uns die zentrale Lage, diese besondere Haveli Atmosphäre, insbesondere das erker artige Zimmerfenster mit Liegemögichkeit davor. Enttäuschend: Kein Duschgel,Haarfön, Safe, Kleiderschrank vorhanden. Bad sauber aber sehr einfach. Frühstück wurde nicht angeboten, weder Kaffee noch Tee noch Wasser auf dem Zimmer verfügbar. Frühstück aber in unmittelbarer Nähe gut möglich. Insgesamt ok und auch Preis Leistung gegeben, aber wir würden und das nächste Mal für ein anderes Hotel entscheiden.

Excellent location for the room rent to be paid. Proximity to all important sites by walking distance in the old city of Udaipur. Experience the stay in 240 years old family property managed and well maintained by the owner Mr Satyendrasinh, with lots of personal care and affection. You may enjoy the beauty of lake pichola for hours from the terrace of the hotel during morning and late evening and relax. No food service (except tea pot) is available in the hotel, but lots of good restaurants (like Rainbow terrace) are just outside of the hotel. Excellent location, family owned and managed property with its own major pluses and few minor minus points compared to hotels.

Aashiya Haveli summarised everything that India is known for - Atithi Devo Bhava. For a start, we reached there at 1 am in the night, and satyadev ji (the host) was there to welcome us. We were given the best rooms along with the best amenities. (Thankfully no TV). The hotel is approx 240 yrs old, with an old world charm. It has the best view of Lake Pichola. The staff is enthusiastic with each request taken care of. Child care is absolutely great. We had breakfast at the terrace every day with a lake view. Satyadev ji helped us with tourist attractions info as well. Overall it was a lovely experience to stay at Aashiya Haveli. Highly recommended for family as well as solo stays. I'm going back for more soon.
