MUKESH BHATIA, THE PROPRIETOR, IS A VERY COOPERATIVE, HELPING, SUPPORTIVE AND WELL BEHAVED, SMILING, I.E. A PERFECT GENTLEMAN.QUALITY OF FOOD IS OK, PRICES ARE FAIR NOT HIGH.SERVICE IS VERY GOOD. My stay at Akashdeep was very nice for the reasons below
1. Location- Its location is exactly in the center from where all the markets can be reached. The fort can be accessed easily and can be seen from the rooftop of the hotel.
2. Service - The service is great and prompt. Mr Khan was very helpful and approachable whenever we needed any help. They also let me store my luggage on my way out.
3. Value for Money - I stayed here one night but it was great value for money according to me. A basic room with hot running water with loads of thick blankets as there is no heater.

Do not book this hotel ever. Dirty sheets, noisy due to the location on a busy street and also no insulation in the walls or windows, run down facility period! We arrived late at night and stayed 1 night, though we paid for 2 nights through Expedia, we moved to a different hotel.

The front of the hotel is facing the street, which is always dirty. There is no lobby to speak of. The manager and staff are kind and helpful. Provided me with a free pickup and drop off at the railway station. The restaurant upstairs serves good food at a decent price. The hotel is located opposite a wedding hall. Be prepared to hear wedding bands and fire crackers exploding till 10.00 pm. The stairs are steep. Very basic hotel. You get what you paid for. Be prepared to face a hard sell on a camel ride at the sand dunes etc.

It is good value for the money. The hotel manager was very helpful and personable. Room was very comfortable. Good AC. But shower didn't have hot water. The meals at the roof-top restaurant was very good. Hotel arranged for desert tour package. Hotel does not have lift/elevator. It was not a problem for us, but could be for frail people.

I was in the wrong bedroom without air conditioning and 35oc, for a few more dollars you can have a bigger bedroom with AC.The bed was so hard I only slept for 4 hours.The staff is nice, and the hotel was freshly painted.

we stayed two nights.The room are neat & clean Toilet is well maintained. ..The owner is a fine gentleman & very co-operative. He took all care for our comfort.we felt very homely He guided us for camel safari in desert and staying a night in the desert-Resort.

The hotel is suitably located near the central market area, and walking distance from many eateries.
Though our first night experience was not great, the owner was flexible and arranged for an upgrade (at no extra cost) to ensure better stay over the remainder of the period.
We liked the food (good quantity and taste). Unfortunately, because of the rains, we could not enjoy the roof-top restaurant.
Note: We visited in off-season (mid-August)
