Location is good but service is between poor and lousy. I had to wait more than 10 minutes in inchecking although there were no other customers. The rooms are not tiptop but ok. The co-operation between hotel and restaurant does not work.

I had booked a Deluxe room. Firstly they gave me a different room - really dirty as If it’s a shared room in a lodge. After raising the complaint, they changed the room with rolling eyes. Such scammers!

Very professional and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms in a great area of the city near sites. Good restaurant on site

Very central location but hotel is not very pleasing stay experience. Lot of noise during night. Hot water is not instant. Free breakfast is very ordinary. No car parking. Tariff is high for very ordinary facilities and ambience

Hotel is located near various embassies, was very convenient that way. Service and staff are very good. It was bit difficult to find late in the night as Google lead us to the back gate. Building of the hotel is bit old but that its own charm. The room that we were in looked new.

Staff were courtious and attentive. Room was really not in a good clean condition. Broken tower rack in bathroom, constantly dripping shower didn't make it worth the amount I paid for the stay

The restaurant at the hotel is exorbitantly expensive. The food was not great , only cost was high. One slight problem was that there is no elevator at the hotel and we need to climb two flights of stairs each time

Great service, comfortable stay. The close proximity to the US consulate was great! Good free breakfast options. Otherwise the food is expensive.

Slightly better than a motel 6 with food. The rooms do need some renovation. The portion sizes for complimentary breakfast was super tiny and they don't give you large plates or service ngbspoons if you have dinner. The only plus point is the location but overall not worth it.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Central to everything. The service staff was very professional and attentive. The breakfast included was great, we loved the great variety offered. The restaurant was integral to the success of our trip. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

Safe area, good security, but almost everything in hotel is very old, or broken. I would not recommend you another hotel, if you don’t have any problem on transportation.

- The room smelled like someone had been smoking there for a while - The sheets were not clean - I was charged an extra Rs. 1500 for an extra-person. I have never come across a hotel that books a 2 person room and charges extra for 1 person - The complimentary breakfast was horrible. The worst part was that we were told about the complimentary non-buffet menu items after we had already finished our buffet breakfast - Never coming back to this hotel again. Would like Expedia to contact/de-list this property and if possible get me a refund

Comfortable home atmosphere and polite staff. Good food. All in all an excellent experience.

The hotel is rated 4 star but is more like a 2 star. it is an old British house converted to a hotel. Hot water is a problem. towels look like they are from world war 2 era. breakfast and lunch service and food quality is mediocre. staff in the restaurant are rude (maybe only to customers of Indian origin). Overall there is dirt and grime every where and would recommend to stay away from this hotel.

Mi hanno chiesto di pagare con la carta di credito all'arrivo, senza però poter emettere subito la fattura e non essendo in grado di precisare l'esatto importo della tassa di soggiorno. Poi .. ho avuto modo di apprezzare la presenza di un buon ristorante interno.

I recently stayed at hotel diplomat for couple of days. I flew down from US and took a cab to this hotel. The hotel staff at the main gate and the reception were really welcoming and helpful. They even took my luggage out of the cab and took it to my room. The housekeeping staff was really good and made sure the room is really clean everyday. The cafe inside the hotel (its called delhi heights) is really good. Overall great experience!

It was a good place to stay but I may not do it again. The resuatuant inside the hotel was closed for renovation and room service was the only option as there are no restaurants around the hotel. Room s3rvice was extremely expensive. They charged 700 Rs. for 2 beers which was absolutely ridiculous! And this was for a pint beer. The food was equally expensive. TV was not working properly and also the toilet flush in the room was loose even though it was functional. The location is great but if you need to eat there is not much nearby
