Staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and clean and had AC, remote controlled fan, TV, desk with chairs, wardrobe, etc. Just a note that wifi was shut off from 12am-6am. The staff did turn it on for me for an hour as I checked in late. I stayed on the first floor and I couldn’t get Vodafone/Idea 3/4G. Centrally located within walking distance to restaurants, both major train stations (Egmore and Chennai Central, all three metro lines and some local suburban railways. All in all, I would recommend staying here on a budget and will definitely consider staying here in future visits to Chennai.

Overall stay was nice. The hotel has its own quirks, like no wifi after 11~11:30pm... and back on at morning 6 or 7... that might put off some people, especially business and data bingers... Also, the wifi reception inside the room was spotty and the internet slow... all these are fixable should the people who run the hotel want to. Apart from that, the stay was nice and comfortable, the staff was polite and helpful.

Cheapest A/C room I could find in town. A/C was directly headed towards bed which makes it not the ideal place. Also because of the location it's not really quiet in the room. Friendly staff. Good value for the money.

On reaching the hotel at 11.30 p.m on 17th August 16,the receptionist told me that I had no booking for that day and therefore no accommodation can be provided.After some arguments and production of proof of booking that was available in my mobile phone,the receptionist was convinced and managed to provide me a three bedded room which was only available at that time,of course at the tariff agreed upon while booking.The stay was okay and I have no complaints except that bootled mineral was not provided.
