Camera gradevole,doccia con acqua calda.Servizio in camera lentissimo,un ora per avere un the.Colazione in altro hotel vicino in seminterrato molto triste con stessi alimenti tutti i giorni ,scarso cibo sia continentale che indiano.L ultima mattina siamo stati avvisati telefonicamente dalla reception alle 8,35 che la colazione chiudeva alle 9,00 anziche le 9,30,ci siamo dovuti alzare di corsa senza aver sufficente tempo per prepararsi

Very friendly professional staff they are all a credit to the hotel. Comfy bed and big room. The bathroom let it down. Dirty shower curtain. Bath and tiles needed a good clean and sealant round the bath urgently needs replacing. With a bit of deep cleaning and some repainting would bring it up to standard overall. Food in the sister hotel restaurant wasn't good. Rotten Gobi in the Aloo Gobi.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our first arrival in India. The general culture shock was intense but they were really friendly and helpful at the hotel. It's part of a series of Sunstar hotels and you will see three of the brand on this street. It's not the nicest of the three but I think it has the most character. The other was more touristy. The nicest sunstar hotel was just about 5 buildings down and they will walk you there for breakfast in the morning. The rooftop view from that restaurant is great for watching the bustle of the street. Theres little shops all around like "chemist" which is their word for pharmacy basically which can be handy when you need something. Altogether I think this street had many hotels and stays so the people were friendly and used to tourists so it felt like a good intro to India for us. They can also help you book city tours and rides. Would reccomend.

Unfortunately some bed bugs the first night but no problems after staff cleaned the room.

I would recommend staying at the Sunstar Residency. I stayed for 1 night between flights. I've stayed at hotels closer to the airport and have never been impressed with their cleanliness or customer service. Although this was slightly further, it was worth it. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was included. The room was spacious and clean. The only error was that nobody showed up to pick me up from the airport as arranged. They offer a free pick up from the railway station and a discounted pick up from the airport. When I realised this, I got a pre-paid taxi there and they discounted my taxi to the airport the following day. Despite this error, I would stay here again as overall the standards were high.

Centrally located in New Delhi, but immediate neighborhood lacks good shops and restaurants. Staff was helpful and reliable. Pigeons on the window a/c unit made use of a/c unappetizing. Room service/food was very good. Room smelled like smoke upon arrival, but at least the window opened and the exhaust fan worked. Bed was comfortable, and wifi and TV worked most of the time.

Good choice for our first trip to India. Staff was very helpful, room clean, king bed very comfortable.

Hotel room is quiet which is the plus point, however, furnishing and toilet are really run down. We did not sit on sofas as they looked quite dirty. Sorry.
