A fan with no regulator, and an AC which misbehaves at odd times.

Little slippery in the bathroom, otherwise everything is excellent for nice stay

Chennai needs a lot of work to be a tourist city.

A nice hotel, very close to Egmore railway station. Room was a good size and clean as was the bathroom. AC worked well as did the TV and fan, with hot water available in the bathroom. Good Wifi connection. Breakfas was buffet style served on the top floor, which was good. My only negative comment would be that my room was on the 1 St floor, literally as you come up the stairs and so is open to the noise from the reception area. On the first night, There was a radio blaring away music at 4am in the morning, I soon worked out that it wasn't coming from another guest room but the night porter sitting at reception. I had to telephone the reception and ask him to turn down the music, which he did but that should not have happened in the first instance as they should consider guests, plus he is not down there to listen to music whilst he's working!

This hotel is in a great location if you are using Egmore station in your journey, ie arriving by train or using the metro from the airport. The hotel is clean and tidy. Service friendly and good. Sheets and towels a little tired and the room fairly basic. The room is comfortable. no fridge. I asked for an iron, not possible. I thought breakfast was pretty basic. Few choices and nothing cooked to order available ie omelette. It served its purpose and the wifi was good. Price is great.

Good location but badly maintained & not worth for the money, even breakfast was with limited options, still suffering with Covid syndrome

From the receptionist everything went good and the breakfast varieties and taste are good., Ladle & Spices is a good restaurant in egmore best south indian food from the sambar to sweet.friendly staff and Speedy service with quality food... will go there again in september

The hotel is old... I was given a twin room, but upgraded to a suite after I conveyed my displeasure, as I required a King bed

Overall stay was good. Staff was well supportive, food could have been better!!

This place should not be part of your consideration set... Foul smelling rooms, pathetic buffet breakfast, poor service... Only good thing is location... walkable distance from Egmore railway station...

It was a pleasant stay overall. A minor irritant, the knob of the toilet flush was half broken, it was expected that the hotel authority would take care of such issues without waiting for a complaint from the occupant.

I had a pleasant stay at Kings Hotel. The location is safe and the bar on the ground floor is convenient. My recommendation is solely based on the executive room package.

I had only a one night stay here and I was satisfied.. Had few problems with tube, tv, ac etc but it was all resolved right away, service was excellent and I am happy with my stay, both money and comfort wise.

The property was OK but the staff was disappointing. The request for tips was brazen. My room was never cleaned even though the cleaning staff was in the hallway everytime I left the room. I had to put the dishes out in the hallway to be picked up. The coup de grace - I was asked to leave a tip for the cleaning staff when I checked out. Of course, I did not.

l'hôtel est simple sans fioriture, décoration un peu vieillote, mais l'essentiel est là : un lit, une douche et un endroit entretenue et propre. Petit bémole : pas de frigo

The hotel seemed to be OK. However: - the cleaning stuff entered to our room while we were in without any notice - the reception wanted to charge us much more for the taxi to the airport than it was priced (we paid 300 Rs they wanted to charged us 700 Rs.) - hotel organised a taxi for us for a day trip with cockroaches inside and no English speaking driver - the breakfast was very Indian, no international food - bottled water in the room was refilled not original hence we were afraid of using it POSITIVE: no cockroaches in the room!!!! :)
