I booked for 6 nights but after just one night I booked 9 more. I had already been to 5 cities in India and was tired so just wanted to unwind. I loved this guesthouse. It's less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. My room had a fridge which was great. The host Manuel was really accommodating and helped me book my taxi to the airport. It's really peaceful but just down the lane you'll find restaurants and shops. You can eat at the beach shacks but obviously that costs a bit more as you're on the beach. I felt really safe here. I'm already planning to go back next year. Some of the reviews are complete nonsense complaining it's so far from the main road. It's just over a minute's walk - think of it as a slightly longer than normal garden path. Thank you Romaldo Guesthouse.

Friendly staff. Owner of the house Manuel very helpful with advice etc. house itself very clean. but outside the property and the streets of course not clean like most of the country. I Would not recommend it for foreigners visiting India although close to beach. The place is hard to find because a car cannot drive to the house landlocked by other houses, only by foot after being dropped on a nearby street by a taxi. Call ahead let them know you're coming and have a staff member come out to the road to help fetch bags. It is a safe place but noisy with barking dogs surrounding the house from all over and barking all night and day and also loud music from the beach. Like every place in India which has the world's largest street and wild dog population out of control , there are wild dogs everywhere with packs of them roaming the beach attacking other packs so be careful. I Even saw wild dogs roaming their most modern airports built better than major American airports.

People were very polite and happy . Rooms where spotless .Had to buy our own toiletries . But did not mind . Would recommend for younger people who have stamina. But are not noisy or impolite.

Well kept family owned guest house. Good value for affordable price. Good location just a short walk from beach but still has a laid back atmosphere.

Property ok but owner is to rood

Hier habe ich sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Die Unterkunft liegt genau zwischen Strand und Shoppingmeile. Der Hausherr ist super cool drauf und steht einem bei allem zur Seite. Positiv ist der eigene Eingang ins Zimmer. Sehr empfehlenswert.

The guesthouse is tucked away down a side alley, though east enough to find with the signs. It is convenient for the beach which is about 50 meters away, though it is at one end of the resort area so about 10 minute walk to the main tourist/shopping area. The accommodation was generally clean, quite spacious with a large bed, however it's one of the hardest beds I've ever slept in. Also the walls are very thin, I had a couple next door and I could hear everything they said, furthermore one of them snored all night every night and even with ear plugs I could still hear them! Shower with hot water was good. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Property was near the Calangute Beach and you can reach within 5 min of walk

waste of money ,locating too deep ,no transportation available,constant smell of dead fish,rooms are not clean . do not recommend it at all !!

Stayed there many times, allways great with no problems,and i will be there again.

Costly.............................................non ac room

Romaldo and his wife are lovely people and have the perfect location for their guest house. It’s a short walk to the most beautiful beach in north Goa. The room was perfect, spacious and clean with a huge bathroom. Strong WiFi as well. We ended up staying for a week because it wasn’t just so perfect here. Highly recommend staying at Romaldo Guest House.

Hotel is near to Beach. Owner is helpful and Friendly. They do have there own rental scooters. Recommend to rent from them. Rooms & Bathroom - very clean. Good for Backpackers like me. Contact the owner in first hand, if you are coming by your own car.
