撒哈拉之星酒店历史比较久，里面的环境没得说，但是房间内部设施就一般了。感觉服务员见过的土豪太多，对一般出差的人不会那么周到。建议在这里住一晚体验下就行了，不要久住以免影响心情。WIFI信号不好，且手机信号也不好，离不开网的朋友不要住

The best airport hotel in Mumbai, but pls remember that you cannot walk to the hotel from airport. It need to take 10mins by car, you should book pick up service from the hotel.

已經是第二次入住，因為接近機場，要留意，由國際機場/本地機場都是不可能走路過去這酒店的！但可以事先通知酒店安排車到機場接機，晚機到達最方便不過。酒店各方面的設施都很好，所有員工都很有禮貌，很幫忙，以後去孟買還會再入住這酒店。

The rooms are actually dirty. Bed sheets, sink and bath area felt like a 50yr old property. The ac did not work despite multiple tries from the staff. At one point the electricity went off for the entire floor. People who were leaving in a three star that came to meet us asked if you want rather book a room in their hotel as this one looked worse to them. Not at all a 5 star hotel. Don't be fooled by the looks from outside or the photos. The rooms inside are shambolic.

When I book hotel. Its sayed breakfast included, but when I check in they say breakfast not included in the price. That's disappointing me. That's looks to like scam to the customer. Is not clear properly in your message. Please clarify properly whether its included or not. When we already check in and at the end they said breakfast not include. That's very Very bad.

The staff tried to trick us into paying more for the room that had opted and they made sure that none of our concerns were addressed

We had a 4 day stay where the second day there was some fault in a system in the hotel and everybody's ac weren't working plus in our bathroom there was problem in the flush so we requested to upgrade our room and the staff was helpful and polite and they did give us upgraded room on our 2nd day onwards

The breakfast buffet was terrific. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Let me list a couple of the cons: The hotel is dated. The carpeting needs to be refreshed. I was placed in a wing where there was construction going on in the adjoining rooms. The carpet was dirty, and the hallway smelt dank. In the exercise area, there was a video constantly playing of the CEO shilling for the hotels culinary school. It seem quite annoying, especially when trying to exercise. Finally, the hotel has a number of rather irritating ledges, and drop offs, which can be quite daunting for a customer with physical difficulties. Overall, a decent hotel, but not one that would merit a five star rating, at least in my book.

The lobby was uncomfortably hot , the room smelled of cigarette smoke , mold on the lap shade and a cockroach in the room . Staff was not helpful at all - claimed I would get only a 2 night refund instead of 3 I have yet to receive any refund. I do not recommend this hotel , it is absolutely NOT a 5 star hotel .

Absolutely dingy and pathetic conditions. Booked one of the best rooms and was utterly disappointed.

Great hotel right by the airport with a lovely outdoor pool. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Venus room and corridor carpets to room need a bit of TLC as getting a bit worn and dated but the uniqueness of the hotel lets you forgive that. One improvement would be proper sunbeds round the pool as the current furniture doesn't allow you to sunbath properly. Pravin on the bar gave great service.

My stay at Sahara Star in Mumbai fell well below expectations for a hotel of this scale and reputation. I booked a Venus Premier Room based on photos showing glass ceilings, but most rooms had frosted glass. I requested a comparable room and was shown multiple options that didn’t match, including two with shattered panels above the bed and very dated furniture. This happened four times before I was placed in an inward-facing room that felt more like stadium seating than a private hotel space. The Duty Manager offered a F&B credit as compensation, but it was not honored across multiple meals. Cleanliness was another issue. The final room had visible tobacco residue in the shower and entrance, and the balcony area had litter and had clearly not been maintained. It was also one of the only places during my time in India where I encountered mosquitoes. Saw them fumigating the atrium area during the day. Staff interactions were consistently rude and dismissive, and worsened after I raised concerns. This aligns with other reviews noting similar service and cleanliness issues. The property is unique but feels dated and poorly managed. Despite having an onsite hospitality school, standards are highly lacking. The location is also poor, in a rough and congested area but close to the airport. Everything on-site is overpriced, with food and beverage pricing comparable to NYC, which is difficult to justify given the experience. Overall, I would not recommend this property.

I had a wonderful stay. All staff were very gracious and courteous, especially the staff at the concierge, reception, and elevators, who went above and beyond.
