good location, clean and nearby shopping center, but price was too high & room small, not 5 stars, I feel only 4 stars! 70% expensive than Holiday Inn!

There is only 10 mins by taxi from CCU airport to the hotel, and the city center II is just in the same building. It's very convenient to me to have one night in the hotel for transfer. The breakfast is good and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. It's far from Kolkata city though, in general it takes 1 hour to Victoria Memorial by taxi.

I’ve been coming to Taj Hotel since it used to be Swiss Hotel for many years. Every time I feel like I’m coming home. Very well treated by everyone. Highly recommend

My stay at the hotel was fabulous. The hotel was in an excellent condition with all the latest amenities. The staff was superb .. a big shoutout to Bikash, Chetna and Rupsha and the entire staff. Would love to stay here again

No 1 choice of airport area

This was my second stay at this property, and once again, it was an amazing experience! 👏 Just one piece of constructive feedback: while enjoying the lovely breakfast, I occasionally noticed that some items on the counters needed refilling and were left empty for a while. That said, the staff and overall service were excellent, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

My stay was good & safe. Food in room dining was great ordered couple of times. But lobby/front desk so many staff walking around but you’re waiting to get things done like had to wait for my luggage after checkout & I had to leave for airport but staffs are very polite & felt safe throughout. I will come back for sure & will recommend my family abroad.

I had an incredible experience at Taj City Centre New Town. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stylish and modern design, paired with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. One of the standout features was the fine dining at Wykiki which offered stunning panoramic views of the city skyline – it’s the perfect spot to unwind at sunset. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a blend of contemporary decor and local artwork that gave the space a unique, personal touch. I was also impressed by the in-room amenities, particularly the tea bar and eco-friendly toiletries. The hotel also offers a delightful spa with an array of treatments, and the fitness center was top-notch with state-of-the-art equipment. I also loved the fact that they have a unique green initiative – using energy-efficient lighting and offering refillable water stations throughout the property, which really reflects their commitment to sustainability. The breakfast spread was another highlight, featuring a wide selection of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It made for a great start to the day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, luxury, and standout features that make the experience truly special!

It was a great experience. It could have been more kid friendly but overall we found stuff to do around the place. Breakfast space great; excellent art collection and woodwork.

The location and service are un-beatable. The big mall next to the hotel allows is a big plus.
