TEERTH GUESTHOUSE

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!! They gave me a room that looked a dungeon basement and smelled of mold. Water dripping from the ceiling and NO WIFI THERE. Instead of giving me a better room I had to pay 50% NORE to get a somewhat “sleepable” room. NO AC AT ALL. I will NEVER EVER stay here again. While my train was late I got there at 2am I wasn’t even offered water (I would’ve paid!). Also YOU CANNOT FIND THE PLACE!! I had to pay a taxi; then a bicycle tour guide AND a police officer to help me locate it! And it’s in a very dangerous looking area. I immediately booked a room somewhere else.

Staff shared AC is not working, and refused to cooperate. Could not stay at this place.

I asked to change the bed sheet but they didn't It was dirty with stains There r alot of inserts Very far away inside hard to find

In the old town of varanasi very close to all the action. The biggest drawback was the million bugs that were in the room, which made it very difficult to sleep.

Extremely basic accommodation and definitely not for anyone faint-hearted. Stayed for one night only as there was no wifi at all, the reception guy explained that they have reached out to the engineer to fix the wifi issue but after waiting for over 14 hours, we decided to try somewhere else with good wifi instead. Happy that there is no bed bugs for our room and another bonus is that it is walking distance to the river.

Service good, the local area is dirty

My parents stayed there for 3 days and they didn't like it.

Good experience near to temple and neat and tidy.hygienic and peaceful with good staff.

VERY MISERABLE EXPERIENCE. NO HOUSEKEEPING. VERY FAR FLUNG FROM THE MAIN ROAD INCONVENIENT TO REACH THE HOTEL.

Very close to the Brown Bread Bakery. A great landmark and a good spot to organize with fellow Travellers.

the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Old City location was actually quiet. Decent rate. The restaurant is not actually in the hotel so you have to wait for your food if you order room service. The room was clean but needs a paint job. Good budget option especially if you want some quiet in the middle of the bustle,

I booked & stayed in hotel for 2 nights from 16/8-18/8. On the 2nd day of my stay, hotel cleaning staffs did not clean my room. Also, they took room service order to give 1 cup of coffee at my room around 10.30AM & confirmed to serve it within 15 minutes. When it was not served in next 1 hour, I did the follow up. Then, the staff at reception said they would serve in next 15 mins. Still it was not serve by 12.30PM as well and then I went to Reception to meet staff there. I met hotel owner there & then I was told that they had some labour problem & unable to serve. It could be informed to me earlier when I had placed the order at 10.30AM in the morning without this drama !! Also, as they room was not cleaned and no cleaned towel was given, I requested to Room Service to provide me one clean towel before taking bath. They said they searched whole of the guest house and they had no clean towel. My overall experience with this hotel/guest house was horrible. I don't think they treat guest as guests!! I won't reccomend anyone to this hotel/guest house.
