Exceptional service and an indulgent stay in Mumbai We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Oberoi Mumbai. Having previously stayed at the Oberoi in Delhi, we knew there was nowhere else we’d rather be for our time in the city — and it didn’t disappoint. • The service was, as always with Oberoi, outstanding — the best we’ve experienced across any hotel chain. • We were checked in directly in our room, which was made available early (around 11am) — a thoughtful touch that made our arrival seamless. • Breakfast was a daily highlight, with an extensive à la carte menu and something for every palate. • The gym and spa facilities were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our massage. • While the pool is on the smaller side, it still offers a relaxing escape from Mumbai’s heat. A note of caution: the hotel transfers are very expensive (~£100), especially compared to booking a large Uber (~£10). There are likely more reasonable options in between. All in all, a truly memorable stay. We’re still dreaming of the scent of those beautiful bathroom products. Highly recommend.

Good located hotel, nice, clean and large rooms and very good service. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, I was expecting more from such a hotel

The stay was truly amazing. The staff were so welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable. I had a problem with my suitcase zip. The hotel sent a man to fix it. Amazing, now no stress about a broken suitcase. The bar is amazing too, well staffed and great selection of drinks. The gym is well equipped. I am into weight training. Certainly didn’t disappoint. The pool at the Oberoi and the Trident were both great too.

Superb!!

I had to cancel my trip due to visa issues. The hotel initially confirmed they would allow a refund because my cancellation request was only a few hours outside the cut-off. The management then changed that decision.

High quality hotel as expected. Stuff are particularly helpful and kind. Be nice to them :) Great rooms even the basic ones. Not sure why the 2 floor reception situation but minor thing.

The service at Oberoi is warm and attentive. English is well spoken. The hotel public spaces are breathtaking and serene. My room had a beautiful view. At the outside bar, sunsets and cocktails were brilliant. Early in the morning, it was nice to cross the street, Marine Drive, to sit on the seawall and watch the day begin. Many joggers, yoga, strollers.

Comfortable quiet rooms with stunning ocean views . Staff were so helpful, polite and went out of the way to meet requirements - all offered outstanding service Breakfast selection was fabulous particularly the local specialties. Definitely a hotel to return to

The staff at this hotel were superb, especially Mallika and Nabeel. Very helpful booking dinner reservations (Trishna is a must), as well as guides and drivers, airport transportation, etc. And, they accommodated us for a late breakfast even though they had finished serving. Our room was well appointed with a separate living room area and it overlooked the bay. Very comfortable. You must get a cocktail for happy hour at their outdoor bar - pretty views! The sister hotel, The Trident, is next door and as a guest at The Oberoi, you have access to their amenities as well... a big pool, workout room, and spa. Had a nice massage there too. Overall, I highly recommend The Oberoi!

Comfortable stay, room was on 16th floor Clean rooms, great amenities & fluffiest towels ever Breakfast at Vetro was superb, great quality food & a great team who took time explaining the Indian breakfast dishes & assisting us to choose (the masala Dosa was the best ever !) All the team were great, we were in the section that Rishab looked after at breakfast & he was exceptional We booked airport transfer through the hotel as we were arriving in the early hours, it was a little expensive at just under £100 (when you compare other options) but was very efficient & the driver was waiting for us in a Mercedes, it was worth it for peace of mind after a long flight Excellent check in even though we arrived at 2am There is a small pool at the hotel but you can also use the larger pool in their sister hotel next door in the Trident The hotel is a good location, quiet & safe, away from the bustle of Colaba but also accessible to main areas with on foot or cheaply in an uber & its good to have electric options We took an uber electric which we called from the hotel for our return journey to the airport, was a smooth easy journey & cost around £10 Would definitely recommend this hotel
