The setting of the property amongst rice paddies in a small village and having one of Bali’s great cooks as the owner means delicious food on tap. I come for the peace and quiet.

I had the most wonderful stay at Pesantian in January with Santika, his wife and wonderful staff....if you’re looking for something peaceful and tranquil out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud then this is it! It’s in the middle of the rice fields, beautiful sunsets, and complete darkness and quiet at night. They have a small pool and restaurant on site that has great Balinese food! I loved everything I ate and the fresh juices and tea were the best. And then for a small fee Santika will drive you to all the sites you want to see, it’s about a 20 min ride to Ubud city where he dropped me off and I spent the day exploring. he also took me to a the Bali swing, a temple, etc. I was a solo traveler and he drove me on his motor bike everywhere, which was such a fun authentic experience! Him and his wife were so friendly and accommodating it’s an amazing place to completely disconnect and relax. If you’re looking for more activities and things to do on site this isn’t the place for you but if you want a place to unwind and relax and live more like a local, in nice accommodations this is for you!

Tempat yang sangat baik untuk menginap. Pemilik sangat ramah dan baik. Kamar luas dan bersih. Lingkungan masih sangat asri dan dekat dengan beberapa tempat wisata.

Beautiful, luxury design and quiet place in Ubud. The price also reasonable and worth. I have 3 days pleasant stay here and highly recommend this for everyone. The owner and his son, also the employee are super friendly. They also have a restaurant with couples of super tasty food. Will come back again for sure.

The staffs are very friendly. They upgraded my room to deluxe suit without extra charge. The food was also very good. They also have parking space so don't worry for those with cars or motorcycle. Overall I am very happy with Pesantian!

Lokasi penginapan ini gampang bisa melalui Google Maps..Begitu sampai anda akan disambut dengan udara segar alami yg begitu sejuk..tidak kalah pula kehangatan dari staff disini sangat menyenangkan seperti berkunjung ke teman lama..Yang tidak disangka disini adalah masakan nya baik dari Sarapan, Makan Malam enak semua dan sekelas hidangan bintang 5..Bebek Goreng sangat nikmat daripada masakan Bebek yang biasa dikunjungi wisatawan..diikuti dengan Pork Ribs yg menurut kami lebih enak daripada yg ada dekat Ubud Centre..Jadi tempat ini lengkap sekali untuk Short Stay/Long Stay ..
