Prabhu Ubud Villa

I stayed 4 nights at this beautiful gem just outside of Ubud City Center. The accommodations are lovely and it is very quiet as the villa is backed by rice fields. The staff is exceptional! Breakfast included was cooked to order and served at your room. There are several very good eateries within walking distance. It's about 45 minutes to walk into the city center if you want to visit the palace and art market. The villa staff arranged a very nice tour for me to several UNESCO sites. I highly recommend staying here.

Highly recommend this unassuming Villa. Lots of positive features to the space. Firstly, understand that you're in Bali at a mom pop Villa, not run by corporate giants. There's so much charm and love poured out into this place. Recommend getting rooms in the upper levels as the bathrooms at the downstairs suites are pretty much outside. There are 4 staff members here that we were very fond of. Very sweet and service with a smile. Please tip them well. Brought our luggage upstairs for us. Cleaned our rooms. Cleaned the property etc. Tiny little bugs here and there, but they would spray and clean when requested (again a tropical island is bound to have insects) Breakfasts are simple and local, not a buffet style. Pick a meal, pick a drink. We enjoyed the pool and the view overlooking a rice field. Senrene and quiet. Only 8 suites in the whole Villa so it's not overcrowded. Small narrow lanes to get to the property, so large buses can't get through, but a van will be able to get to the Villa. I couldn't get used to the large pebble walkways, so if you have mobility issues, wheelchair, or need cane and walkers, this property may not be for you. Restaurants to check out nearby, ACK chicken, and cloud nine Korean fusion restaurant.

A HIDDEN GEM! I was pleasantly surprised to find this area of Ubud. I have stayed at a few places, so this is by far my favourite. It is serene and hidden, and looks onto rice fields. My room was very large and had a soaker tub. I swam each day and the pool was perfect since it is surrounded by tropical gardens, so very calming. The staff is outstanding and free breakfast delivered to your door each morning was icing on the cake. While it feels remote, it is easy to book a Grab (taxi) up the road. I didn’t love walking in the area due to the uneven sidewalks, so the driver took me to the busier parts of town, when preferred. I will definitely be back with my friends!
