Swastika Bungalow

No curtains on the windows for privacy. We travelled together and were supposed to have adjoining rooms, all arranged and viewed 3 months ago, but were placed far apart which was frustrating and inconvenient. The reason given for the change didn’t make sense. There was a large very noisy group of friends staying there and congregated on the terrace next to one of our rooms, starting their racket early in the morning and continuing through to late at night and no one censured them or asked them to move to the lobby where they wouldn’t have caused such disturbance. My daughter had to shift from her first room because the bathroom was sub standard, and then again from that room so she could get some sleep, ending up in an upgraded room far away from mine. I’m sure I paid for a better standard of room than we were allowed. The staff are lovely and so helpful, the gardens are beautiful and the location is excellent, the beds were comfortable but the pillows were not.

The breakfast was not very varied, but it was enough and delicious. All the staff were kind and friendly with smiles. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the type of towels. There were only bath towels and pool towels. If possible, it would be perfect if you could provide a face towel.

Check in and out was quick, staff were friendly and helpful. Pools and gardens were nice. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were to hard, air conditioning was cold but noisey and the shower wasn't great, we were in a deluxe room.

Decent rooms, reasonable breakfast, fabulous pools, excellent staff, super clean, good position and a good price. Very happy

Lovely gardens and 3 pools. A 2 minute walk to bars,restaurants. Mainly older people there so very relaxing. Great friendly staff.

After being in Legian for a few days we were after peace and quiet and Swastika delivered. Older crowd and very peaceful. Staff were the friendliest.

ambient pool and gardens.property not wheelchair friendly, give credit where it is due they did supply ramp to my room and to the breakfast elevator.property is old and needs refurbishment.room and bathroom has no ventilation hence room gets very stuffy.the staff make this property.breakfast reasonable.rest food average but lots of rest near by.

Little paradise

Super hyggeligt hotel, meget slidt, men personalet gør meget for at man føler sig velkommen og godt tilpas. Morgenmaden kunne godt trænge til en gentænkning, meget kedelig. Dejlig stille pensionist hotel.

Fairly run down

After searching different hotels, booking, cancelling a few, we ended with Swastika. To our surprise it’s a beautiful peaceful property without the noise of Sanur traffic. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and comfortable. We gave a 4 rating for cleanliness because we saw a cockroach crawling across the room 😝. Cook to order breakfast is delicious. Menu changes daily. The pools were great with good temperature.

There are three pools there ,that are really beautiful ,Bali is so hot and humid you need a pool to cool off .

Great place to stay.. large room, clean 3 pools, beautiful gardens well maintained Walk to everything Sports/games area at Swastika - pool table, table tennis (great idea) but needs updating Highly recommend this place Great breakfast included- Friendly staff.
