We had a wonderful stay at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Everything about our visit was great — the only drawback was breakfast, as the sausage and eggs were a bit overcooked. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would happily return.

This was our son’s wedding venue and it was fabulous. The staff were amazing, facilities excellent and we had a very enjoyable, happy time. The food and service were excellent and the sun came out for the occasion. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The ladies at reception are very friendly and pleasant. They were very helpful with information about what to see and do. The leisure centre at the hotel is lovely, clean and the showers are great. The hotel while very nice is a bit tired. The shower is over the bath makes it hard to get out. Breakfast is self service.

The hotel is located in the heart of the town. Town center and local attractions are all within walking distance.
Down sides hotel menu for restaurant a little bit lacking in choices

The Abbey Hotel was a cute little place and had a lot of charm. The room was much larger than i expected for a European hotel. They are undergoing some renovations which will hopefully update the wear and tear without losing the charm. The property around the hotel is beautiful!
