Would stay here again if we visit Dublin in the future. Right in the heart of the city, but not too noisy. Gives “authentic Dublin” vibes vs a big “known” hotel - we visited from Texas so I was thrown off that there was no AC, but we opened the windows at night and the temp was perfect. Food at the restaurant down stairs was good, friendly staff GREAT LOCATION

Do not stay here. It’s dirty and in a very dodgy part of town. You have no chance of sleeping because of the live band and no double glazing so you hear all the noise outside sirens etc.

The best thing about this hotel is the location.
It was rather cold the week I visited, around 4-6 degrees overnight and my window was obviously broken. I reported it 1h after I checked in and nothing was done. I requested towels to stuff the incoming cold airflow and that's it ..

Rummet var bra och framförallt så var läget på hotellet fantastiskt. Nära till allt. Eftersom man inte har bra fönster i England och Irland så var det mycket ljud i rummet. Men de erbjöd öronproppar så då funkade det bättre när man skulle sova.
Tyvärr fungerade inte tv:n i vårt rum en annars var det ett bra hotell.

The bed was actually two twin beds pushed against each other with one king sheet. The bed and pillows were very firm and uncomfortable. The shower was tiny so you could barely turn around or squat down to get your own shampoo/conditioner that you need to provide yourself. It also wasn’t told to anyone that was staying that the hotel locks door in and out around 7/8pm and you have to enter or exit by the bar downstairs.

Great location but since the restaurant is on the 1st floor the noise is really bad even where I was staying on 4th floor. I had a hard time falling asleep. The noise goes down after 2pm but the trash truck passed by every day so noisy too

The price we paid per night was far too expensive compared to the little tiny space we got for the room. We could barely walk around our bed. Never mind space we needed to put our suitcases.

Great historical building in the heart of the city. Perfect location for walking and exploring Dublin. Very close to where buses pick up and drop off for day trips. Lively restaurant/pub in the lower level. Can be loud at night but we got used to it. Great place to stay!
