Clean room, excellent hospitality and staff are very friendly. Great Breakfast.

It was in the centre of town, nice room with tea and coffee, clean and tidy, a good breakfast with cereal and a hot breakfast, plus the staff were very nice indeed.

In the heart of downtown, with it being walkable to things close by. It was central to Mahon Falls and Rock of Cashel. I messaged the property ahead of time that I would have a late check in. I didn't get a response. I did catch the girl at the desk and they were able to get things worked out for me. The two negatives were the lack of hot water and soap in the room.

I actually enjoyed it, but it’s old fashioned and they need to upgrade door locks and put extract fans in the en suite. Saved me driving to Dublin that night. The breakfast was first rate, cooked fresh, not like the cremated sausages I got other places on this trip. Staff friendly. Look, it’s old fashioned from the Heinrich Böll era 1950s, damp smell in otherwise clean en suite. Good value but they need to upgrade a bit, door locks barely close, not very secure. Could be noisy if a noisy crowd arrived. No lift. It’s a glorified B&B. But I’d stay again if travelling on my own and had enough driving for the day. Parking on street outside door in city centre was a plus.

We booked. twin beds. Got a double. Old sash windows couldn' t be closed. Facing High Street. Very noisy. Disturbed by guests coming in at 2.50 am. Flimsy curtains let in light. Tiny room. Breakfast limited,but ok. No parking.

Property old fashioned but clean staff could not do enough for us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay

The toilet was leaking ... they knew that .. rolled up towel behind the loo ... but water was all over the floor. The shower seemed to be broken, I couldn't get it to work. Although there was tea / coffee in the room, there was no milk. So no shower, no cup of tea ... not a good start to the day ! On a brighter note, although breakfast doesn't start until 8am, lady in the dining room, was able to give a sausage sandwich to take with me before 7.30 ! Apparently the hotel has been sold. So there might be brighter days ahead !

Very efficient service

The late night staff member stayed half an hour late to check us in as our flight was delayed coming in so we weren’t going to arrive before the front desk closed. Excellent service!! The breakfast was amazing as well!

Loved the stay, super friendly staff and the breakfast was so nice! Sadly though there was what looked to be drops of blood stains on the sheets which was unpleasant as well as lack of hair dryer in one of our rooms. For the price though the stay was fantastic and in a lovely area even if finding parking was a hassle. Really chatty staff, generally nice rooms and great breakfast :)

Its needs some work.... staff was fine, breakfast was good but it was dirty and not well maintained.

Old, worn out

Je ne déconseillerai cet hôtel que pour une bonne et simple raison : les issues de secours sont condamnées. Ce qui fait qu'en cas d'incendie on est pris au piège. Sans compter que la propreté de la literie laisse à désirer et il y a des moisissures dans la douche

No hot water for shower in one of the three rooms stayed

Room was very small. Beds uncomfortable. Mold everywhere in the bathroom and in the room behind the beds. Only stayed one night

No parking facility. Left suitcase in car rather than take it up 3 floors.

I enjoyed

Black mould in shower cubicle, no lift, threadbare hall carpet and protruding spring in mattress.

We opted for twin beds and they weren’t very comfortable and the room was upstairs with no lift. The breakfast was very good.
