Room was perfect and staff really helpful

Room is dated. Free bottle of water was partially used by other guests. Heating not consistent. Food just ok ordered steak in coach house restaurant and had to return it as it was so tug. Chef agreed and I got full refund. Signs on spa doors stating jacuzzi was temporarily closed for maintenance, when I enquired staff said it was just warming up and would be up to temperature in 2 hrs (which suited me) when we went back staff kept saying it’s still 2 degrees short of the temperature it should be with perseverance they eventually relented and opened it for us. On a positive note staff are lovely

Breakfast was lush. Pool was freezing and overcrowded was actually a safety hazard

The room was clean. Fresh towels each day. Nice relaxing atmosphere, perfect after the busyness of Christmas.

Huge spotless room, friendly and informative staff. Complimentary bottle of prosecco for my wifes birthday, delicious food. And a present from santa for my daughter and grand daughter. Highly recommended

Room good and staff friendly. Check in and out was poor. Breakfast service was poor with drinks finally arriving as we finished, not to mention the queue. Gym in really poor condition and Sauna was luke warm/not working. Disappointed as have been here many times.

Very short staffed from checkin to restaurants and checkout. Breakfast was a complete disaster. We’d booked for 10am and got seated at 10.15. I won’t even go into the rest of it!

Lovely relaxing weekend. Enjoyed the swimming pool and walking in the country park. Staff were friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family overnight stay. Staff were so friendly, family suite was lovely and spacious and the breakfast was amazing. Our little ones really enjoyed the play park and the fun fair activities. Rooms could have been a little cleaner and the hotel in general felt slightly outdated. The helter skelter was a bit slow going down and the bouncy castle completely soaked which was a little disappointing. But otherwise the children had a blast. Would be lovely to see the pool area updated next time we come to stay. All in all, a really lovely hotel and super friendly staff. Definitely will be back again.

Room was old and outdated. Went to the spa for mud application, arrived on time but the receptionist said she needed to heat up the steam room, which took half an hour. We needed up waiting in the room for half an hour which delayed our further plans. The steam room was also very slippery with mud and there was zero facilities for you to get a grip on, which is very dangerous if elderlies come for the spa and fall. The dinner at the golf club was also disappointing, more like weatherspoons pub food. Overall disappointed by a so called 4 star hotel but received ibis treatment.

Room clean, Comfortable beds Any staff we spoke to were friendly enough. Breakfast food was enjoyable Spa was good and I had the harvest glow treatment .the wee girl India was lovely and very good at her job On the plus side there were a few minus We were 2 pensioners and we were put in the rooms that were at the end of the corridor .this was not good when you have a disability , to be fair I did not inform them of this at booking. Again at breakfast I felt because of the crowds that were there we just got put in with the masses. Again the mobility issue came up and I asked a lady , I think her name was Alison who changed tables for us and she couldn’t do enough for us.the gentleman who had seated us originally didn’t appear to be too Happy about it We dined at the coach house that night which was okay. Overall a lovely stay.

Fantastic place to take the family. Was very surprised how much stuff there was for kids. Well worth it

The premium room was extremely spacious enhanced by the high ceilings and period features, it was very quiet and private and had a lovely atmosphere with the bed being extremely comfortable and we also enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. The breakfast was exceptional, first class produce & efficient staff. The evening meals in The Coach House were good, the staff were pleasant, though the service on the first of the two nights was very slow. Overall we had a positive experience, would stay again ‘ would recommend.
