Great location average property limited snacks small rooms

My favourite hotel where I've stayed in Dublin. So clean and well decorated. There's also a staff member whose name I wish I remembered. I think her name was Sanshruti or similar. She was our saviour after we finished our concert, pretty dehydrated, and we couldn't find any shops open to buy a drink. Such a kind and professional person, and she made our trip so much better.

Beautiful hotel great size rooms! Close to everything! Great restaurants /pubs!

Huge rooms, really modern. Really excellent front desk service and daily full cleaning. Good location.

The location was perfect. Walkable to most tourist sites and since the location is on the edge of crazy activity, it was peaceful.

Frühstück sehr gut, alles vorhanden was man haben mlchte. Zimmer sauber, Personal zuvorkomnend und sehr freundlich. Werde bei meibem nächsten Aufenthalt in Dublin wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

The best word I can use to describe our stay at The Alex is Excellent! The hotel itself is in a fantastic location positioned walking distance to many of Dublin’s highlights while distant enough to avoid the crowd and noise. The staff was incredibly welcoming - special shoutout to Simon for helping give advice and being generally kind. We were able to drop our bags and got an email that our room was available a couple of hours earlier than check in time. Our room was on the fifth floor and extremely well-appointed with a mixture of charm and minimalism. The shower was the best we used in our entire time in Ireland. Bed was large, comfortable, and had plenty of outlets. We ordered the room that included breakfast and I’m so glad we did. The food was really superb - full Irish breakfast fare with a variety of pastries, ample choice of coffee and juices. The service was great and it was buffet style so we were able to have our fill before hitting the streets. Overall, I wish we had stayed here for our entire time in Dublin and I will not hesitate to stay here again when we return. One of the best values-for-money that I’ve experienced in any major city.

Gut gelegene Unterkunft, sehr freundliches Personal

Wir haben uns in The Alex sehr wohl gefühlt. Zimmertausch war ohne Umstände möglich. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Zimmer sehr groß mit sehr bequemen Betten. Ordentliches irisches Frühstück, mit der Möglichkeit weitere Kaffeesorten bestellen zu können. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Really friendly staff

The hotel was lovely a very clean couldn't do enough for you well stocked with everything pleanty choice for breakfasts aswell staff were very friendly helpful it was very close to everything and bedrooms were lovely everthing you needed

Von Anfang bis Ende alles absolut hervorragend! Das Frühstück (20€ pro Person) war super und vielfältig. Rundum haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Besonders Megi und Simon möchte ich nochmals Dankeschön für den super Service sagen! Wir kommen wieder

This hotel is incredible - the staff are extremely hospitable, the rooms are lovely, and the food and drink are great. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk from Grafton Street, so a little bit out from the centre, but the walk in is lovely as you go past Trinity, and there’s also an abundance of taxis. We would definitely stay here again.

Why is there no place to hang wet towels to dry? It doesn’t seem sustainable to change the towels every day. And why is there no outlet for hairdryer in the bathroom. The adjustable mirror in the bathroom is great, but probably way to high up for most women.
