Great place and location! The staff was very kind and we had some of the best service we had while in Toscany. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. It was a short ride to Lucca city and Pisa. The only thing we noticed was a heavy perfume sent in the room, but after awhile you’ll get used to it. The surrendings were very beautiful. If you are looking for a place to stay which is quiet and calm, this is the place for you.
All in all a really great and beautiful place to stay.

The Chapel suite was amazing, large bath and bed and super comfortable, although the bathroom facilities you’d have be to very comfortable in each others company, but still excellent. The biggest disappointment was the dinner in the restaurant, the food was tasteless and an odd mix of ingredients but sadly the dishes didn’t do the place justice. The staff and service though was excellent.
The pool is very relaxing however even in October we were bitten to bits by the mosquitoes so bring repellent.
