B&B Tra L'Etna e il Mare

Good air conditioning, and most of all they were very accommodating. I was traveling with friends, and one person arrived Friday, another 2 Saturday and the last one Sunday, so we had to make separate bookings for 1, 3 and 4 people. They would have had every right to make us check out every morning and re-check in every afternoon, and give us new rooms each time, but instead they gave us the same room from the first day, so that we didn’t have to go through all that hassle, and so that we wouldn’t have to pack our bags every day. I really appreciated that. More formal hotels or regions wouldn’t have had this kindness. One struggle in a friends trip is that b&b only give one key per room. That requires people to either always be together or coordinate in complex ways to be able to get in, but that was the case in all my stays in Sicily over 2 weeks. So I recommend this place because they were really helpful with a very complex booking. And they had breakfast! They make you coffee or cappuccino etc to order and it was included in the price.

Das B&B ist ungefähre 15 min vom Flughafen entfernt, Parkplatz Möglichkeit. Die woche wo ich da war hat sich ein älteres Pärchen um das Frühstück Buffet gekümmert, dank die beiden habe ich mich wie zuhause gefühlt. Es gab jeden morgen Espresso und frische Cornetti. Nachmittags gab es ein anderes Pärchen die sich um die Empfang gekümmert hat, die waren auch super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Abends ist diese Gegend ruhig, und von da aus in 15 min hat man das Zentrum erreicht zu Fuß. Gern empfehle ich es weiter und gern komme ich wieder zu euch nächstes jahr!

But the hosts are nice, the rooms are good and I enjoyed my time there. People need to read reviews and prepare before booking places. Yes it’s not in the centre but who wants to be in the middle of all the noise? I don’t! I walked 15 mins and it was great. Thankyou to the girls for their welcome and kindness and I will def come again and recommend!

No cold water. Crumbling facility. Needs renovation.

A bit off away from the center but close to the airport. Complicated check in and series of doors / keys. Communication is good though and the cleaning lady is nice. Breakfast limited. Recommend for very short stays and if you are budget conscious.

The property was quite hard to find and in a quiet dark street which as a solo female traveller, felt a little uncomfortable. Once inside though, the room was fine for my needs if a little basic and the lady at breakfast was lovely

Very fine stay taking the cheap price into account. The hosts were lovely, good communication and great service. Definitely recommend for someone wanting to find a cheap place to stay for a couple of nights
