Spectacular room in an historic palazzo just steps from the main pedestrian street in Cannaregio. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful with arranging transport. Definitely a splurge for us, but one that was well worth it. Breakfast had multiple options (hot and cold, healthy and pastries). View over the canal was spectacular from the forward-facing rooms.

Lovely hotel with grand Venetian decor right on the canal

We had a great stay at Ca'Vendramin. Our room was spacious with comfortable bed. Front door staff was attentive and ready to help. The breakfast was perfectly suitable with what we thought were quality offerings of pastries, eggs, bacon, meats, yogurt and of course freshly prepared coffee drinks. The quiet canal in front of the hotel's entrance is charming. The history of this building as a palazzo adds to the charm. Easily walkable to San Marco square. Cannaregio area west of hotel was worth checking out too. Don't choose this property if you can't comfortably climb a good flight of stairs. Our shower stall had plastic doors, glass doors would have amped up the room experience even more but not a huge detractor.

Great location, phenomenal building! We stayed in the chapel suite and it was amazing. Very good English speaking (which is a plus not a necessity) staff.

Really enjoyed our stay! Alessandro at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Got an upgrade to a really cool room overlooking the canal. Breakfast in morning was fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend!

One of the best hotel stays of my life. Very nice and attentive reception staff. Live and Valentina are the best. Sincere. Not fake. Breakfast ladies were the nicest ever in this business. Breakfast was really good. We stayed at junior suite with canal view and the room was like out of medieval age italian chateau. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. There were everything you could find at those old classy royal hotels. Even envelopes and papers with hotel insignia on it. The stairs towards our room was decorated with statues. The hotel is on the canal so we got to go back to train station with a water taxi. Fixed price, 70 euros. It is a great experience. Overall, really great experience.

The staff helped us with every step of our needs. The breakfast had healthy options. The hotel was able to store or bags before and after we left our rooms.

Ideally situated for a weekend break - staff all very helpful - hotel about 15 mins walk from the Rialto bridge - easy access to restaurants and shops. Room modern ( no lift access) - breakfast you have to book a time slot as limited dining spaces.

The staff was lovely and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a nice selection. The air conditioning was nice and worked well. The location was perfect, very walkable but also quiet!

Everything was great at this lovely property. The staff was exceptional--helpful and friendly. Our water taxi took us directly to the hotel and picked us up for our return to the airport. The property is in a great location. Close to the action, but on a quieter street. I'd definitely stay there again for a return trip.

An amazing place to stay in a beautiful city!! Our very own palace! We loved, loved, loved our stay at this hotel!! We had a beautiful room with a balcony and view of the canal! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The local recommendation for dinner was fabulous They helped coordinate a trip to Murano to tour a glass blowing factory and also our taxi to the airport. The breakfast was an awesome perk. Wonderful options and cappuccino made with smiley faces. You won’t be disappointed by booking this place on your next trip to Venice!!
