Wonderful hotel with some of the most magnificent views on the island. The staff is very welcoming, professional and attentive. The food is great.

Without a doubt one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay in. The property is a beautiful 19th century private summer palace converted into a beautiful hotel. The interiors are stylishly decorated and furnished. The rooms are spacious with incredible views. The service was impeccable, from the moment we arrived at the port there was a porter waiting to greet us and handle the transfer of our luggage to the hotel. The transfer from the port was in a BMW driven by Allesandro. We were greeted at the property by Angelo who was welcoming and ensured a smooth cheque in process. We spent an afternoon at the pool which has terrific views of the bay of Naples and some time trying out their cozy outdoor gym which is surrounded by plenty of trees and the hotel's garden where they grow fruit and vegetables. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of fresh fruit, delicious tomatoes grown on the property and a wide selection of delicious pastries and desserts. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Incredible, amazing, stunning!!!!!

I had very high expectations for this property before we arrived, and they’ve exceeded even those lofty expectations by a wide margin. What an amazing property, run by amazing people. The views from this hotel simply can not be beat. The food was exquisite. The grounds immaculate and the service was second-to-none. We were met at the ferry docks by a hotel representative who took our luggage and arranged our transfer to the hotel via private coach (NOTE - if you are afraid of heights, close your eyes for the ride to the hotel!). After check in, luggage appeared in our room. A special shout-out to Marco. We met Marco just after check in, having lunch in the restaurant. We saw Marco every day, several times each day, during our stay, and he had a friendly and helpful greeting each time. If they’re offering it, remember to try the Ravioli Caprese dish. It was outstanding (and the Bufala Caprese). The views from this property are simply amazing, with sheer cliffs running 900’ straight down. The pool area was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The room service staff (housekeeping) serviced the room twice a day, making it so that when we returned from our excursions of Capri and Anacapri, or returning from dinner, the room was fresh and clean. Don’t forget to watch the sunset from the lounge. You won’t regret it. We are completing our three-week tour of southern Italy and Greece, and can easily say that our stay at the Caesar Augustus was THE most memorable stay, bar none.

Quest’anno è cambiato la proprietà; non più la famiglia Signorini ma la catena Four seasons. Questa può essere l’opportunità per agganciare l’hotel ai migliori standard internazionali di proposta alberghiera, a patto però che non venga meno la poesia che avvolge i luoghi. Mi permetterei di consigliare di non interrompere i rapporti con il personale della vecchia struttura, l’unica che può conservare la memoria storica della struttura e dei suoi affezionati clienti.

What a setting! Perched high up with views to forever. The gardens, terrace, restaurants, rooms all magnificent. And then add the wonderful and warm staff-perfection. Thank you for all the personal attention we received that made our 50th wedding anniversary celebration a highlight of our life together!

Hotel Caesar Augustus, perched high on the peaceful slopes of Anacapri, felt more like a private panorama than mere accommodation. Our room opened onto floor‑to‑ceiling windows and a wide terrace, so every glance took in the full sweep of Capri’s limestone cliffs and the shimmering Bay of Naples. Each evening we lingered on the balcony, watching the sky fade from coral to indigo behind Ischia, Procida, and the distant outline of Vesuvius—a nightly show we’ll never forget. The location could not have been better: a leisurely five‑minute stroll led us to Villa San Michele, the Monte Solaro chairlift, and the cafés and boutiques of Anacapri’s historic center. Inside, our suite was airy, spotless, and generously proportioned. Downstairs, the bar mixed inventive cocktails alongside a tempting menu of light bites, while the main restaurant delivered polished Mediterranean dishes worthy of the view. It was our first visit to Capri, and the warm, attentive staff at Hotel Caesar Augustus turned it into something magical—an experience we’ll carry with us long after the ferry pulls away from the island.

The view, the hotel and the staff are all first class! Everyone made us feel as if we were at your own private estate. Extremely welcoming and friendly. Francesca created a top notch itinerary and checked with us daily. Drinks on the terrace were served with a welcoming smile and delightful conversation. From start to finish our stay was eccellente ! Bravo!
