Me and my family stayed here for a week to go to my brother’s wedding up in Belagio. This place is beautiful and the view is also amazing from the dock. Luciano and his wife were very welcoming and accommodated all of our needs as much as they could. Breakfast options was also great. The locals are very friendly , I befriended two of the local business owners around the area as well. The room we stayed in was the biggest one in the top , we loved the sun roofs. Overall the room service was also great. I definitely recommend Don Abbondio.

Hotel Don Abbondio is 30 minutes walk from Lecco train station and the main tourist area of the town. It's in a quiet area with, mainly, local people. There is a large supermarket about 7 minutes walk away from the hotel. 3 minutes walk to the main road leads to a bus stop (2 Euros per person takes you to a bus stop at the back of the train station) and a takeaway food outlet. There's a restaurant next to the hotel. We didn't hire a car, so I can't comment about parking, but I think that parking isn't a problem near the hotel. The service from reception was excellent, the buffet breakfast was fine, and the room cleaning was good, every day :) Overall, at this price point, as long as you're happy to be away from the town center, this is a very good deal :)

Hôtel vétuste, dans un quartier pas très rassurant et pas agréable. Jolie place sous les platanes, avec un bon restaurant accolé à l’hôtel. Petit déjeuner correct. Wifi correcte. Pas de parking mais merci à la dame de nous avoir permis de stationner notre moto juste à côté de l’accueil de l’hotel

Arrivés tardivement pour cause de train remplacé par un bus, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise que notre réservation ait été acceptée (chambre payée) mais aucune chambre de réserver pour mon fils et moi. Heureusement , la gentillesse et l'efficacité du réceptionniste nous a permis de trouver une chambre de remplacement bruyante, mais c'était mieux que rien et se retrouver à la rue à 21h30 un mardi de juillet pour une réservation faite depuis le mois de mai ! Assurez-vous en renvoyant des messages de la prise en compte de votre réservation !

When we arrived there was a huge hole in the reception area's floor. There is NO bar or hot food available. The whole of the hotel is in need of a refurb, very dated. It's over a kilometre walk into town or a 12 euro cab. there is nothing around the hotel ie bars restaurants etc. pay bit extra and find a hotel in Lecco town centre !!

Staff was super nice. Half the items in the room (air conditioning and television) didn’t work and walls were scuffed and the shower didn’t appear very clean. If you’re just looking for a place to stay overnight, the staff is great but the room is average.

The woman at the front deal is the most pleasant person we've met in a long time. She was wonderful. The room was great too, clean and comfortable. The balcony was large with a great view. Breakfast was delicious and everything went smoothly.

Nossa estadia foi ótima comparado custo x benefício. O hotel é antigo porém percebe-se que houve algum tipo de renovação no quarto. Todos os funcionários foram extremamente simpáticos e solicitos e ao lado do hotel tem um restaurante muito bom! O único ponto a desejar foi a falta de estacionamento, tínhamos de procurar vaga nos arredores por que o hotel não dispunha de estacionamento e a praça em frente ao hotel não permite estacionar, pois a qualquer momento a polícia pode vir multar.
