Everything about our stay was amazing. Lovely room with view. Fabulous spa facilities which we made use of after a days hiking. So much choice and top quality breakfast and evening meals, but most of it was the fantastic staff who made us so welcome and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. Thank you. We hope we will visit again some day.

Beautiful small hotel in the lovely ski town of Ortisei. The staff got to know us personally and were very attentive and responsive. The kitchen served excellent breakfasts, and the dinner options were also very good.

The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and well maintained, but not updated (the bathrooms are old but clean!). The view from the room was outstanding and service was very friendly and prompt. The only real negative was that the bed was very uncomfortable (somehow too hard and too soft at the same time). We stayed in a normal double room with a balcony.

We spent there four nights. Our main objection is connected with our table in dinning room where we had a breakfast. Despite the fact that the all dinning room floor is covered with the fat carpet and has a nice view over the village, almost entire time we were sitting in the corner at the table situated on the tile made floor, near the kitchen entrance. Because of it we felt little bit underestimated in comparation with the other guests particularly when some guests finished their visits and left the hotel we remained at the same position. We could understand it was a peak of the season and crowd if we were sitting there only for a day, but certainly it is unpleasant to sit in such place for a longer period. However, they should take such issue into consideration to improve their services. Finally we must admit that the staff was extremely kind and professional.

FIVE STARS! This hotel was beautiful with gorgeous views overlooking the Dolomites from the balcony of the room. The room was very spacious and comfortable and clean. The hotel was a little removed from the city Centre but a hotel shuttle is provided at a moments notice. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful and four stars. The staff was professional and everything was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is situated on a mountain overlooking the valley. What a view! Our room was a family room with separate spaces for our guests.

Gracious hosts and staff; original, regional and curated art; and gourmet food contributed to an exceptional experience.

Our stay at Hotel Grien has set a benchmark against which all future hotels will be measured. the staff were welcoming from the moment of arrival and couldn't have been more helpful and willing with any request we had. The facilities were maintained to an impeccable standard and the spa in particular was an immense pleasure to use. Massages were excellent. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with incredible views and quality bathroom fixtures. The breakfast offered an wide choice of high quality foods and the evening meals were consistently delicious. we also enjoyed some excellent wines, aperitifs and appetisers in the cosy bar most nights which were a wonderful start to our evening. All in all, Hotel Grien provided such a high level of service and hospitality that we will measure all future hotels against our stay here, and it will be difficult for them to match up! Thanks to the whole team for helping make our holiday to the Dolomites the trip of a lifetime.

Questo hotel è stato una rivelazione! La posizione è a mezza costa con una vista bellissima verso il Gruppo del Sella e il Sasso Lungo, potevamo vedere le piste da sci sotto il Sella! La camera è confortevole e spaziosa, il personale è competente, cortese e attento a tutte le esigenze. Due cose spiccano in questo hotel: il cibo e la spa. Ogni sera differenti ricette tipiche e non con sapori eccezzionali. Complimenti allo chef! Anche la spa è da segnalare, dopo una giornata di freddo per mercatini o sulle piste saune e bagno turco sono l'ideale, insieme all'idromassaggio salino! Grazie della bella vacanza!!

This was a really friendly, family run hotel and we had a fantastic time here. Perfect service, food and comfort with a beautiful setting overlooking the green Dolomite mountains. Evening meals were also fantastic value and we stayed in the hotel every eve to eat and drink, due to quailty of food and faultless service.
