Staff very accommodating given our unexpected late arrival. Breakfast spread was fresh and flavorful.

Beautiful hotel, helpful and friendly staff, easy walking into town and to the ferry lines near the hotel. Great breakfast with everything you could want. We had a deluxe room with a balcony and beautiful view of Lago Maggiore but the room was extremely small.

Alles bestens, nur die Matratze war für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen hart. Dass man den Hund zum Frühstück mitnehmen darf, hat uns besonders gefreut.

Beautiful location, gorgeous views, lovely grounds for sitting outside.

Endroit unique avec un personnel très courtois et aux petites attentions. Vue imprenable des Îles Borromees. La cuisine du soir y est excellente et le petit déjeuner du matin offre un assortiment divers de buffet du matin. Claude V., Canada

All the staff was very good, friendly, helpful, cheerful, and welcoming. The location is also very good within short walking distances to the center and major sites. The breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone. However the decore needs some refreshment. The room size is adequate but storage good. Sound does carry from room to room in those that share a wall. Wehad some trouble with the lighting that had a life of its own. Apologies but no fix. We could get around the problems.

Friendly staff, but we did have two issues. On check in we provided passports etc, but then were expected to hand to a porter as the receptionist had not been able to complete info successfully the first time. Upon check out we were asked to pay for the booking as well as the city tax, when we had already paid the booking online. The hotel is clean but dated by British standards. It’s very pleasant but like stepping into an upper class 80s hotel with all the swags and tails of Laura Ashley!

Lovely balcony and view BUT room was tiny and too much furniture in it. Also no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Bar staff made a comment about Brexit to us AND male Reception staff were not at all friendly - no “hello” as you approached them and one person actually ignored me! Breakfast buffet was good BUT again most of the staff (male) were not forthcoming with offering us tea/coffee - I had to ask someone each day to get us a drink as we couldn’t help ourselves! Beautiful town though.

Le personnel très accueillant et souriant, cependant, la piscine tient ses promesses. Le petit déjeuner était assez varié mai pas exceptionnel pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. je pense que au niveau des services Cependant ce même qui ne parle quatre étoiles ou plutôt trois étoiles au niveau de la étagère shampooing d’eau, couverture lissant. Hôtel de style belle époque Donc classique mais faut penser au changement les moderniser l hôtel.
