Nice Hotel - friendly staff at the front desk - clean and tidy room. The Hotel is well placed - very close to the Porto Nuevo Train Station - we found most sights and highlights were very walkable. Highly recommend the Hotel Astoria.

En tout premier lieu je n’ai pas eu la chambre que j’avais réservé, a priori un malentendu entre ce que communique Expedia et l’hôtel, après la baignoire qu’on évoque n’est pas vraiment une baigboire, l’ascenseur est réduit, et enfin c’est le type d’hôtel ou la femme de ménage tape à la porte à 10:58, oui parce que le check out est à 11h et le check in à 15h…

Camera datata, piccola e con un bagno ancor più piccolo. Per rendere l'idea, il bagno era approssimativamente delle dimensioni di quelle di un Frecciarossa. Le camere lungo la strada sono martoriate dal passaggio dei tram, che sferragliano ad una decina di metri dalla struttura. Le camere che danno verso l'interno non hanno questo problema. Personale non particolarmente solare ma comunque efficiente. Colazione da rivedere

Ottima la posizione, buona la colazione, l’unico problema della mia stanza era l’ubicazione della tazza del gabinetto praticamente difronte la doccia per cui era quasi impossibile sedersi , a volte mi chiedo questi architetti che progettano dove hanno studiato .

Terribile. Solo la posizione. Il resto incommentabile per quel prezzo. Camera vecchia, fatiscente, senza nessun confort. Wc attaccato alla doccia impraticabile. Condizionatore fuori uso. Nessuna presa vicino al letto. Evitare assolutamente.

We have stayed in this hotel several times before, and therefore were expecting a comfortable, pleasant stay.
The bedroom was large, but only had a single socket available for use.
The bathroom was terribly small, only 18cm between the front of the toilet and the shower meaning you had to sit sideways. which made it very difficult to use.
The shower was tiny, 60cm x 60cm and you had to pass through the shower door sideways.
Even worse was the black mould that was apparent on the tiles, and around the soap dispenser, as well as the encrusted dirt and hairs on the shower basin edging.
Overall a very dissapointing stay.

Good and central location.
Rather old and filthy with hairs lying around on the floors and in the shower. Bathroom very small, so that it is hard to have the door closed while sitting on toilet. Very noisy both from traffic on the street and hallway and other rooms.

Horrible hotel! It's very loud! They turned off the AC because it's below 20⁰c and they expect you to sit in a room with no air moving unless you're willing to fight off the mosquitos and tune out the horrible noise all night! I slept better on the train leaving town than I did at the HORRIBLE excuse for a hotel! Avoid it unless you're desperate! You'd still sleep better on a bench!
