L’hôtel n’étant pas rempli hors saison, nous avons bénéficié d’une chambre avec vue sur le Lac. Le personnel a été adorable et le petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux. En revanche, pour un hôtel de ce standing, nous aurions aimé des cloisons plus épaisses : cela nous aurait évité d’entendre les conversations téléphoniques de notre voisin et ses ronflements !

Gratis Ugrade auf besseres Zimmer mit super schöner Aussicht auf den See. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sowie ein gutes Restaurant. Good location, 15 minutes from Como S.Giovanni, close to ferry pier and town centre. The room was clean and comfortable, good breakfast , fine dinner and friendly staff in the bistro. A little bit disappointed without a lakeview room even we asked for, only a view of the Duomo, but still happy to stay at the Barchetta Excelsior.

Sehr gutes Frühstück mit reichhaltiger Auswahl. Super Lage direkt beim See und in nächster Nähe zu Restaurants. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schönes grosses Zimmer.
Nur die Betten sind sehr hart und ich habe daher sehr schlecht geschlafen. Ein "Toper" auf der Boxspring-Matraze würde da sehr helfen. Wenn das Bett nicht stimmt, bringen alle anderen Vorteile nichts.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. The location cannot be better. Breakfast is excellent with many choices. Staff was very helpful with every question we had. Only minor issue if I'm being nitpicky was that maybe the pillows were a bit too big and uncomfortable for me.
