Hotel Capitol – Simply Good
I booked a small room at Hotel Capitol for a work trip, and my stay was truly excellent. The room was quiet and peaceful, with a window that let in fresh air—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The Wi-Fi was outstanding, thanks to their Wi-Fi 6 setup. I had no issues with connectivity, whether I was working or streaming.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special shout-out to the gentleman working in the breakfast area—he went above and beyond to assist guests and made mornings feel welcoming. I’d also like to commend the room service team. I had a minor issue with the trouser press, and when I called reception, someone came promptly and resolved it with great professionalism.
Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel’s location was ideal—just a short walk from my workplace. My room was cleaned daily, and everything was kept in perfect order.
Based on my experience, I’m happy to give Hotel Capitol a 5-star rating. I genuinely can’t think of a single downside.

Not the fancy hotel but was clean, comfortable, and in a great neighborhood away from the center - but still very accessible to tourist sites. Breakfast gave you all the choices - American breakfast, German breakfast, European breakfast. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Stanza non particolarmente grande. Anche il letto era un queen size in luogo di un comune letto matrimoniale (che mi sarei atteso trovare stante la mia richiesta di prenotazione). Il pavimento delle stanze al primo piano è stato rifatto con un pregevole parquet, così come i muri si presentano in buone condizioni. Ciò che meriterebbe un intervento (di certo più dispendioso...) sono i bagni, datati e non all'altezza del resto. Personale cortese ed efficiente. Colazione ottima.

Hotellin sijainti on kohtuullisen lähellä keskustaa. Aamiainen oli tyypillinen, ’englantilainen’. Puuro ja marjat ja sokeroimattomat maitotuotteet puuttuivat. Kylpyhuonetarvikkeiden riittävyydestä piti huomauttaa. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hinta-laatusuhde oli kohdallaan.

AC wasn't working as good for our room. Bathroom smelt a little moldy. Didn't hear all amenities from staff in the beginning. Also restaurant food was just okay.

Im stunned anyone has ever rated this hotel beyond a 2 star rating.
It’s extremely run down and we spent a good chunk of money.
The room had a horrible smell to it, the tub (yes there is no shower) was so high I almost fell getting out. The tub wouldn’t drain so we had to shower in our dirty water.
Browse around, spend the extra $200, I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here until some serious Reno’s are done.
Also elevator barely fits 2 people it’s sketchy.
