Beautiful garden in the back

Hotel is quite aged, staff is super lovely and welcoming. Overall i don’t feel it is a good value of money but understand there is limited options in the area.

We stayed in a non-renovated room, and our first impression was that the carpet looked dirty. Honestly, this is not the standard we would expect, but in the end it is mostly a visual matter of paying for a non-renovated room. For a lower price it was acceptable, and we understood it that way. The service from all the staff was impeccable, and the hotel’s gardens, swimming pool, and outdoor lounges make up for the details of the room. Certaldo is a beautiful town with excellent food, and the experience of taking the funicular up at night was truly special. Overall, it was a very good stay, especially thanks to the kindness of the people who work there.

Utrolig bra service av alle arbeiderene på hotellet, spesiell takk til resepsjonen som hjelpte med taxi og anbefalinger, booking av vinsmaking på Poggio Alloro. Flott beliggenhet, kort vei til flotte plasser og spesielt fint å besøke Certaldo Alto.

We hade a wonderful stay and the service was extraordinary! The breakfast was so very nice and the kids love the pool area.

Our stay at Hotel Certaldo could not have been better. The staff were exceptional and enhanced our stay. We loved the breakfast of a wide variety of options & our dinner was amazing. We loved walking to town, rode the funicular for the spectacular view & then returning to our hotel to cool off in the pool. If you want a perfect blend of relaxing in beauty and exploring a sweet town, Hotel Certaldo is your choice.

Sehr schönes Hotel, super zentral für Ausflüge zu den verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Toskana. Das Personal war unglaublich nett und herzlich.

This was a gem. Great stop spot between Rome and Florence. Staff was awesome. All services and amenities were great and our requests were easily looked after. Lobby and hotel in general beautiful. Dinner and buffet breaky were excellent. Very good quality meals and very good service. This place was a top stay for us and if the location is where you may be - you will not regret staying here. Easy free parking ! If you read many reviews and these are important for your decision making, then you will not regret staying here. One of the best !

Great service and excellent customer support

The staff were all friendly but there was some confusion and mix up at dinner on our first night which we did raise at the time but didn’t want to make a big deal about it. Otherwise the facility and the cleanliness was excellent.

Wonderful in every way from the friendly staff to the luxury touches in the gorgeous rooms, to the best full breakfast that we’ve had in a budget friendly European hotel ever. Just about the only criticism I can mention is that the pool is a bit on the small side and was swarming with mosquitos, but the bartender was able to get us some repellant spray which mostly worked. The expansive grounds behind the hotel are gorgeous for walking barefoot in the grass and exploring the riverside and rapids. We used the hotel as our central location for exploring Tuscany and will definitely be back.

The staff at hotel Certaldo are wonderful from easy, friendly check-in, morning breakfast and bar and pool staff to the cheerful cleaning staff. Everyone is wonderful. The pool is kept so clean and orderly with comfortable loungers, fresh towels and a nearby pool bar. The breakfast is excellent, with so many fresh and delicious options, including pastries and eggs/bacon/sausage, yogurt and fresh fruit as well as meats and cheeses. The attentive staff will make your fresh caffe choices for you and serve you at your table. There are indoor and outdoor seating available in the garden for breakfast or dinner. The garden is so green and lovely with lots of private seating areas to enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel for a lovely stay.

Excellent staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Surprisingly lasagna only appeared once on the evening menu during our eight night stay.(it was excellent)

Albergo molto curato, stanze ampie e ben arredate con pulizia eccellente. Immerso nel verde con uno stupendo parco. Ottima la colazione
