Everything about this hotel was amazing! The location was perfect! The staff was more than helpful! The full breakfast every morning is worth adding to your reservation I promise you. This will be in list of plaves to stay at again.

The suite we booked did not meet our expectations at all. It was a convoluted room with two tiny windows set into the ceiling, facing the courtyard. The air conditioning, in particular, made a great deal of noise while providing very little cooling. As for power outlets for charging mobile phones, there was only a single one available—located right at the base of the wall—meaning one had to kneel down just to charge a phone. The various elevators and the confusing floor designations—which did not correspond to the room numbers—were baffling. Furthermore, every morning in the breakfast room, New Orleans jazz music blared out loudly. Why on earth would they do that?

Room was clean and cool. Beds very hard though Staff at front desk were helpful Great location for walking to shops restaurants and local sites

The room was always very clean and made up, but we never saw anyone come to clean it. They were very efficient. The bar on the rooftop actually had more food selections than I anticipated. We enjoyed our time up there. The breakfasts were top-notch. We enjoyed the hot food the most when it was just brought out because it did cool down after a while. Location was very convenient and close to so much. The rooms are solidly built we heard almost nothing from any other room. Elevators were a bit slow, but the stairs were very convenient. The Degli Orafi very much exceeded our expectations.

The location of this hotel is superb, right on the Arno. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. We enjoyed the views from the rooftop bar. The staff were very helpful and assisted us with all our questions and needs. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we ever return to Florence.

I found the bed extremely stiff. The breakfast was mediocre. I was surprised because of the good reviews. The coffee was subpar.

Great place to stay. Close to Ufizi and palace. Also a number of great restaurants around the block from hotel.

we stayed from May 1 to May 4 2026. The room was clean. The hotel is next to Uffizz, a short walk to Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and many more. Close to awesome restaurants. We were upgraded to a suite. When we got to the room we were surprised with free tshirts. The room was a good size with separate sitting area. The shower was awesome with plenty of water pressure. Toilets flushed, no problems. The room amenities were awesome, robes, slippers, lush towels, free water, we had chocolates when we arrived to our room in the evening. The toiletries were luxury. The breakfast was good with a good selection. The staff were awesome. There were 2 issues, the view from our room but not a deal breaker. The smell coming from the bathroom, even with diffuser is very unpleasant at times. The plumbing system in Florence is old, the hotel tries its best to mask it. Air conditioning was great. The way to our room was a little confusing but we mastered it ☺️.

It is great hotel in magnificent location. I keep returning to this hotel, this was my 4th time. I love the breakfast room! But I see the rooms, bathrooms, walls, windows keep deteriorating, not being updated. I think this hotel needs updates if it wants to keep the status and us coming back.

Incredible location, close to everything, wonderful staff!

Friendly and helpful staff, room clean and spacious. Only down side is small shower. But seems that is to be expected in Europe. Great location.
