We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has so much charm and the owners/operators were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. They also provide a very nice continental breakfast. Major attractions are walkable from the hotel but some may find it a stretch. Fortunately it is very handy to the tram line. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very close to the station and everything else. The room was original and you feel like back in the 1700

Wir hatten das Hotel auf unserer Italienreise für zwei Nächte gebucht. Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Ein besonderes Lob geht an die deutsche Besitzerin, die sich sehr um uns bemüht hat. Leider liegt das Hotel an einer lauten Straße mit einer Straßenbahn in der Nähe, weshalb man die Fenster nachts nicht öffnen kann. Das Frühstück war sehr gut

Nice location within a 10 minute walk of the city center. Parking just a few blocks away for 15 Euro per day so was a good option for us. The small family run hotel was a nice touch with excellent service.

Es muy fácil llegar de la estación de tren al hotel, es muy bonito y se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila, 15 min caminando de las atracciones principales en Florencia

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par l'hôtesse de maison chaleureuse et pleine de vie Le séjour c'est très bien passé, proche du centre ville (15 minutes de marche), nous rappelant notre voyage de noces 34 ans plus tôt Merci beaucoup

Wonderful family business. Makes you feel like you are living in the past with ornate rooms and a beautiful ceiling with Roman art above you. Highly recommended. Wonderful hosts.

Excellent location, pleasant short walk to the main attractions. Rooms was lovely, quiet and so clean. Breakfast basic but fine, staff helpful and friendly. Excellent check un as welk.

We had a lovely 2 night stay and enjoyed every minute! Rita and Giuseppe could not have been more attentive and were friendly and approachable with a great knowledge of the local area. The hotel is ideally situated within a 10 to 15 minute walk from the central area. Our room had a beautiful ceiling, as did the breakfast room, and the whole place had a very Italian feel, which was exactly what we wanted. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel and this enabled us to feel ‘special’. On arrival our only concern was finding our way in, as there is just a small plaque on the wall outside, with no indication that if you ring the bell further along the wall, someone will buzz the door open. The hotel is on the second floor, reached by a quaint lift with opening doors, or by the stairs. Once we had checked in, this was no longer an issue as our keycard worked for the outside door as well as our room. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope that we can return in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Nice property, hard to find, and get in the first time beautiful rooms, beds a little hard, very convenient to attractions.

Great location and in fairly close proximity to the centre of town and shopping as well as tourists attractions by foot. The hotel is historic with well maintained historic paintings on the ceilings. Rooms were spacious and clean. Night traffic was minimal, presumably due to closure of the street in front. The neighbourhood was safe to navigate through at night in search of a laundromat, approximately 1.5 km in radius. The host Rita and Giuseppe were exceptional hosts, eager to assist in all our inquiries. Implementation of modern technology while still maintaining its historic heritage, makes this hotel an ideal place. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Firenze.
