No me gusto que mintieran respecto a la piscina. Quedaba en otro hothel, la cama estaba dura y el aire acondicionado se apagaba en la noche, como si estuviera programado para ahorar electricidad

Oppholdet var greit. Sengene var utrolig harde og rommene er ikke lyddempende, man kan høre alt som foregår utenfor døren. Frokosten var helt ok. De hadde det basic, men savnet litt bedre utvalg og påfyll underveis i frokosten. Var man ikke «tidlig nok» ute var det begrenset utvalg. Savnet også ferskt brød og litt frisk frukt. Bassenget ligger en gå distanse unna, noe som var en ganske ulempe. I tillegg virket det som at det ble brukt som et offentlig basseng av de lokale, så man bør regne med mye støy fra barn som løper rundt, skriker og leker i vannet. Du kommer til å bli sprutet på. Ellers var personalet hyggelig og imøtekommende.

We were very happy with our stay at Hotel La Margherita. The staff was wonderful, they were super nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the bus stop which makes it easy to get to/from Amalfi centre. Pool is in another building about 100-200 meters away. Considering the price of this hotel it was great value!

Eccellente il personale di una gentilezza disarmante!! Peccato che non c’è l’ascensore, ma solo tante scale!!! Equivoca la prenotazione. Hotel Margherita e Villa Giuseppina hanno lo stesso proprietario, ma espongono gli stessi servizi: piscina parcheggio. Prestando attenzione scopri che quest’ultimi sono di Villa Giuseppina e si trovano a 150 m circa da hotel Margherita, che gli ospiti possono usufruire…. Prestare attenzione !!

Hotel was very average pool is situated in a different hotel. Staff were pleasant.

A wonderfully small and cosy hotel with lovely and attentive staff. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The staff were always happy to help and answer any questions on the area. The pool area was stunning with beautiful views. A truly relaxing experience. I will definitely be returning.

Rooms are not ok standard. The staff are bothered of the guests. This is a hostel more than a hotel. The breakfast is poor and refills are exclusive. If you’re not early at breakfast don’t count of having any, we even brought our own bread still the staff told us that we ate too much. We normal weight all of us. They put 1/3 cucumber for guest and when you take 1 croissant per person they were rude and told us we that ate to much. There were not even boiled eggs, had to ask for it. The staff are rude (they used foul language and the girl checking us out was yelling and threw us out of the room) even though we did not overstay. The pool is in a different hotel with a walking distance of at least 200 m. It was also used as a public pool for the people living in the village and the chair were reserved for friends, not guests. By far the worst hotel and experience staying in this hotel. Are you kidding me. If privacy is important to you, don’t stay at this hotel. They are observing you all the time. You must leave you key at the reception without any locks keeping the keys safe or a staff managing the keys. We have traveled the world and never felt this observed and monitored, felt disgusting. Talked to other people on the hotel and they felt the same way. Someone can take your room Keyes and go in to your room. The hotel standard is maybe a one star hotel and the staff is super rude and yells lowed. One girls in the staff is yelling in my face and telling us we are

Please note this hotel (La Margherita) does not exist. They will put you in another hotel which is further down the road with a steep hill and many stairs. Difficult to get there without a car. I saw this other hotel (Villa Guisseppina) on Expedia but did not book it because of how difficult it is to get to on foot. Only to arrive in Italy and still be placed in the very same hotel that we tried to avoid. A Taxi is only available for a minimum of 70 euro to bring you to the bottom of the mountain. If you are not intending to hike to and from your hotel every day or if you have any physical/health issues I would avoid booking this hotel. If not, it is a great place to stay with nice staff. It is located in a less touristy area which can be a plus. It can be a nice and enjoyable stay just note, you are booking Hotel Villa Guiseppina. Check the fotos on that hotel listing.

The staff here was very accommodating. The location could not have been better. Walked to the town of Ravello and back all day adventure wandering. Beautiful Amalfi coast location.

The best hotel experience on the Amalfi coast. We had such an authentic experience of Italy in little Scala and our hotel was no exception. We were made to feel so welcome by Anna-Maria and everyone working there. They all felt like a family we got to be a part of. The room was intimate with a spacious balcony with incredible mountain views. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade breakfast at the terrace in the mornings with lots of options. Pool area was beautiful and restaurant made the best food we ate during our time in Italy. Although the location is definitely challenging to get to, and maybe not optimal if you want to explore lots of different towns on the coast, for us it's worth it and we already want to plan to come back in a soon future. Thank you once again for a magical visit.

Absolutely amazing views. Shuttle made it easy to get to the coast. Clara at the front desk was the best ever she gave us dinning recommendations and was just amazing. 10/10 would stay again

Our stay at Hotel La Margherita was one of the most memorable during our Italian trip. Carla is a fantastic host, she makes guests feel seen and clearly likes to give you the right advice for a lovely stay and give you a warm welcome. She was absolutely amazing, in that typically Italian way of communicating of hers! Furthermore, our hotel room and the breakfast room had a relaxing view on the sea and valley between Scala (where you will find 2 or 3 cute restaurants, a bar and a pharmacy) and Ravello (famous for music, with a lovely square with restaurants and some nice experiences, like the Villa Cimbrone Gardens where the “Madeira” scenes of the Sissi movies were recorded). We really appreciated that calm location. La Margherita doesn’t have a lot of extra services, but guests can enjoy the pool and parking from the Villa Giuseppina hotel, which is about 3 minutes walking. We could highly recommend that restaurant with its lovely view. Don’t expect the most modern infrastructure, for instance some airconditioning in the breakfast room would be nice. The room itself was small, yet comfortable with a cute little terrace with view on the surroundings. Unfortunately, we had a room on the ground floor and without any elevator, we needed to carry our suitcases at least three floors down and up again in the very hot August temperatures. So our recommendation is to pack lightly or ask for a room with a better location. All in all, it was a lovely stay with very friendly staff!

Il soggiorno nella struttura è stata una bella esperienza sia per la fantastica location sia per la gentilezza del personale. Tutti estremamente professionali e propensi a soddisfare le singole esigenze: dal personale addetto alla colazione, alla pulizia, alla piscina. What to say? All staff like family ( Carla like a mum❤️ sending big huge). They resolve any problem what we had and answer for all questions what we asked Beautifull view. Tasty continental breakfast

the room has good ac but the pictures do not match and be prepared to walk 10 minutes to the pool

Hôtel agréable même si les rideaux de la chambre ne sont pas occultants et le parking pas sur place. Personnel aimable. Petits déjeuners moyens.
